Zwecks Erleichterung des Verladens von Koks und anderen Materialien von schrägen Rampen aus gibt man in neuerer Zeit den Rampen vielfach eine solche Neigung, daß der Koks ο. dgl. auf ihnen selbsttätig nach unten gleitet. Die Schieber c und d sind in dem Vorbau η geführt, und dieser Vorbau verhindert gleichzeitig das seitliche Abstürzen der Koksstücke. Sobald der Koks von der geneigten Fläche des Schiebers c abgleitet, fällt er in das Transportgefäß.
