B. bei Kohlenwäschen, Ammoniakfabriken u. dgl., aber auch bei städtischen Abwässern, ist in der Regel so stark mit Flüssigkeit geschwängert, daß er, wenn er in den Behältern zur Trocknung ansteht, infolge des durch seine Schwere bewirkten Sinkens der festen BestandteileSludge in sewage treatment plants, especially in industrial sludge drying tanks Plants, such as, for example, in coal washers, ammonia factories and the like, but also in urban sewage, is usually so impregnated with liquid that when he was in the containers to dry due to the sinking of the solid constituents caused by its gravity
Je nach Art des Schlammes wirdίο always separates so much liquid over itself that even with an efficient sludge drying device a fairly long time, too long for the process to proceed, is necessary to remove the liquid. It is therefore necessary and advisable to draw off the water or liquid on the surface that is sufficiently clear from the sludge and which is above the sludge, whereby the sludge drying process is accelerated and space is created for the loading to proceed. The removal of the liquid standing on the mud was effected through holes in the pool walls, through jacks and also through swimming troughs. Pulling off through holes in the pool walls requires constant operation, as does pulling off with a lifter. In pools filled with water and also, up to a certain limit, in pools filled with mud, continuous drainage through swimming troughs of the known type with a movable drainpipe, hose or articulated pipe is still possible, provided that the mud force loading the movable drainpipe reduces the buoyancy of the Swimming trough does not predominate. But as soon as the mud has reached a certain thickness in the known swimming devices, so that the movable drainpipe or the hose can no longer move freely, the pulling device regularly fails. This inconvenience is remedied by the present invention, which instead of the more or less inclined joint pipe or hose, depending on the altitude of the pool water level, provides a vertically movable drainage pipe in the form of a telescopic pipe, which can move automatically unhindered and free of sludge load and only nor the low friction of the pipe in the. Mud has to be overcome, which is expediently done by means of a swimmer designed as a boiler or in some other way, since this can be given the necessary buoyancy. The head of the telescopic tube equipped with the float is designed in a known manner as a surface or medium water suction device, as shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3, each time α being the telescopic tube and b the head of the tube with float c . Depending on the type of mud it will
man die Teleskopverjüngung nach unten oder oben hin vornehmen.you can make the telescope taper downwards or upwards.
