Description
Die Filtration von Kanalisationsschlamm in Filterpressen verursacht erhebliche Schwierigkeiten, da die inThe invention aims at the recovery and processing of sewer sludge for the extraction of the fats and oils and nitrogenous substances contained therein and primarily intends to make the sludge filterable through appropriate treatment close. The filtration of sewer sludge in filter presses caused considerable difficulties because the in
Da das»Ο the slimy substances contained in the mud counteract the formation of a firm cake. To remedy this Ubelstandes it has already been suggested to treat the sludge with known coagulants (aluminum sulphate, Iron sulfate, etc.) and improve coagulation by using the precipitate is heated to such an extent that the slimy ones are made up mainly of proteins existing substances coagulate. Since that
If protein coagulated at temperatures below 100 °, there was no reason to continue the heating. The curdling of the proteins is intended to change their physical properties, so that it is allegedly possible to dewater the sewage sludge treated in this way in filter presses. The known method therefore has a previous precipitation as a precondition. It has now been found that the slimy substances in sewage sludge can be completely decomposed and destroyed without any addition of precipitants and the like if the same is heated above the boiling point of the aqueous liquid in which the sludge is suspended. A minimum temperature of 130 ° C. must be used here, since the purpose is only incompletely achieved at a lower temperature. The well-known proposal to heat sewage sewage under pressure to a fairly high temperature for the purpose of sterilization has only a very remote similarity with the present process.
The process is carried out in such a way that the sewage sewage is first allowed to settle in order to remove the aqueous liquids as far as possible, because the sewage sludge must be as concentrated as possible. This slurry is in a similar manner as peat sludge for the purpose of wet carbonization after Ekenberg procedure heated under pressure at a minimum temperature of 130 0 C., whereby the mucous in a similar manner as in the Ekenberg method, the filtration-inhibiting substances decomposed and destroyed , whereby the mass undergoes a fundamental change morphologically.
The material enters at the opposite end from the closed end End one, moves between the two tubes and returns through the inner tube back to exit the phone. The closed end of the tube is placed in a furnace or otherwise heated, and by appropriate choice the ratio between the inflow and outflow of the material can be a sufficient
Pressure can be generated in the apparatus, thereby preventing boiling and that in the. The material contained in the apparatus is heated to a temperature above the boiling point of water and still flows through the apparatus without interruption. The minimum temperature of 130 ° C. to be used here corresponds approximately to an overpressure of 1.8 atm., So that the walls of the pipes need not be excessively thick. The higher the temperature used inside the pipes, the more complete the destruction of the slimy substances.
Die Abwasser sind vollständig geruchlos und können nach einer geeigneten Stelle geleitet werden.15 'can be easily filtered through a filter press and the high pressure, corresponding to the vapor tension, at which the liquid Leaving the apparatus can be used to drive the mass directly through the filter press. The sewage are completely odorless and can be directed to a suitable place.
The press cakes are then prepared in a known manner for the purpose of extracting the fat content and oil content treated with solvents, whereas the nitrogenous residue is used as a fertilizer.
