Abstract

The sound dampening flexible pipe has a flexible outer pipe wall (2) bonded to an inner porous lining (1) and with the shape of the pipe controlled by an insert spiral spring (6). The ends of the pipe section have pressed fittings for simple bonding to neighbouring sections. The pipes are self-supporting and require no preparation for use. They have corrosion resistant springs so that they can be used in exhaust systems.
