Abstract

Combined bath seat for Bidet, shower or footwear use, is fitted to the bath shaped similar to a toilet seat and adjoining the bath surface edges at either foot or head ends when in the use position. The seat can be swivelled upwards on hinges in the rest position with the hinge located at the end of the bath parallel to the bath's transverse axis. The hinge support may be attached either to the bathroom wall or to the lower or upper edge of the bath itself. The seat ends on the free side opposite to the hinge in two side arms which have a wide open gap between them with the arms extending up to the rear or front bath edge and with both arms leading to a common closed seat surface in front of the hinge (2).
