Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sicherungsvorrichtung für Drallgeschosse gemäß Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1.The invention relates to a safety device for swirl projectiles according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such a safety device is from the NO-PS 1 21 934 known. The fuel and oxidation particles in a common cavity arranged on the floor of the floor. There is the disadvantage that such a projectile already when loading the gun due to shock loads or shortly after leaving the gun pipe, for example by streaking tree branch, explode and thus the operating team of the gun could endanger.
Based on this state of the art Invention the task of a backup device of the type described in the preamble to improve like this, with simple means a much lower sensitivity handling and close to the launch site achieve without losing sensitivity would be affected in the target area.
The invention proposes to achieve this object before that the two components before launching at least almost completely separated in the Cavity are arranged that when shot through the launch acceleration the separation of the Components is canceled and that by the forces occurring during the launch (swirl and Launch) the mix of the stock parts to the ignitable mixture.
This has the advantage that the swirl shot only after leaving the gun barrel and only in one for gun operation dangerous distance increasingly so becomes sensitive that it is appropriate can explode.
Although it is by DE-AS 17 28 237 or DE-PS 9 76 057 known per se, fuel and Oxygen-supplying materials on the floor coat or in the coat of a rocket before the start their intended use separately to arrange and then metered after ignition to deliver.
The mixing according to the invention by the Forces occurring, however, is there not addressed.
The invention is based on some in the drawing illustrated embodiments described.
Figs. 1 to 3 of the drawings, from each guide options in section.
Fig. 1 shows a first example of a projectile according to the invention. 1 designates the head part, in the end section of which an oxygen-supplying component 2 with a central bore or a cavity is pressed. The cavity is filled with fuel components 3 , which are more or less loose in the cavity. In the head part 1 is a usual mixed ge set 4 , ie a pre-mixed set with a selected ratio between oxygen-supplying and fuel components refilled. The entire load in the head part is supported by a support disc 5 . The charge described in this example is highly insensitive to falling and impact loads that can occur during storage and transportation, because the components 2 and 3 in the tip are each quite insensitive. The entire head part would have to be pushed in completely so that ignition could take place at all. When the projectile is launched, it is subjected to very high acceleration forces in the launch phase. These forces far exceed those forces which bind the grains of the oxygen-removing component 2 together. The fuel granules are loose or almost loose in the cavity and do not support the compressed granules of the oxygen-supplying component 2 . This results in a complete division of the oxygen supplier into grains. The situation immediately after firing is thus that the charge consists of the components 2, 3 before the premixed charge 4 from a loose mass of grains, with the majority of the oxygen-supplying grains being on the outside.
When the acceleration force stops, they are predominant the forces influencing the projectile rotational forces and in somewhat less braking forces.
The seeds in the front area of the head part 1 are thus mixed by the rotation, the cavity formed at the very front being gradually filled due to the braking effect.
After a certain distance, the two components 2 and 3 have mixed sufficiently so that a good sensitivity when striking is achieved even on a thin target.
As should be clear, are according to the invention before seen cargo great safety advantages in one possible fall or impact against the projectile tip during Transport or storage achieved. It is also achieved that the Ignition charge not very sensitive immediately after firing What is also of great importance for security. Should the projectile have branches or branches near the cannon Bushes meet what happens accidentally under operating conditions the likelihood that the projectile will detonate, very low, which in turn means less danger to that in the gun area working personnel means.
Practical launch and drop attempts have been made carried out. As for the structure of the cargo, this is depending on the grain size, own weight and gliding ability of the oxygen-supplying and fuel-supplying components. Which of the components is outside depends on that relative relationship between these parameters of the two inventory divide. The special features of charge building are also special like acceleration, rotation, braking of the coming projectile, as well as the smallest in question Target distance u. s. w. to consider.
If the properties of the projectile are such that it is difficult to achieve complete mixing after firing, the two components 2 and 3 may be premixed somewhat beforehand, ie before being filled into the head piece. The outer layer can thus z. B. from 95% oxygen-supplying component 2 and 5% fuel 3 and the inner layer of 95% fuel 3 and 5% oxygen-supplying component 2 . The mixing is then much easier, without the significant disadvantages in terms of safety aspects would be present.
If desired, a device according to the invention can also be provided behind a front ignition charge or a detonator charge which is ignited by an ignition needle 8 or another ignition device. In FIG. 2, a configuration is shown which gives such an effect. The projectile body 6 , which can contain an explosive, fire or explosive / fire charge 11 , has a head part 7 with a central ignition needle 8 . This is driven when the projectile hits the target against a detonator 9 , the beam of fire through a hole 10 in a can body 12 or the like. That fastens in the front end portion of the projectile body, e.g. B. is screwed goes. The can body 12 contains an ignition transmission and a safety element similar to that described in connection with FIG. 1. If the detonator 9 starts in the tip of the projectile due to a mishap, the effect hits the fuel. The fuel will not ignite due to a lack of oxygen and the ignition will thus be avoided. During firing and subsequent rotation, however, ingredients 2 and 3 are mixed as described above. When the detonator strikes a target when struck, it directs its action into a sensitive mass that strikes. The explosive combustion of the mixture 2 and 3 thus leads to the explosive charge 4 being converted . This charge then converts the rear charges 11 of the projectile, which can be the main charge of the projectile.
The explosive charge can of course also be a pre-mixed incendiary charge, and the support plate 5 can be designed with a hole so that the ignition is transmitted further.
Here are the same constructive considerations regarding the sentence grains, the weight of the sentence u. s. w. and also necessary with regard to the special properties of the projectile. In this case, the strength of the detonator, if applicable, is Ignition charge to be considered.
The invention can of course also be used by others Constructions are used as the above, wherein the same purpose exists, namely to secure an ignition charge or a detonator and the transmission and amplification of the Firing pulse after firing.
In Fig. 3, another embodiment of a pro jectile, in which the invention is used, is shown. Here, too, the same details as in the other figures are provided with the same reference numbers.
Im Kopfteil befinden sich ein Detonator 9 und eine Zündnadel 8. 6 thus designates a projectile body which has a head piece 7 . In the latter there is a recess in the back, in which an ignition transmission and safety element is provided. A detonator 9 and an ignition needle 8 are located in the head part.
In the present case, the two components forming the priming charge are provided one behind the other, the oxygen-supplying material 2 lying loosely behind the fuel 3 , which is also loosely located and separated from the material 2 by a film or a thin sheet 13 . This film is adapted in such a way that it breaks down when the launch is accelerated. Behind the oxygen-supplying material 2 , a film or a thin sheet 14 is also provided, which forms a seal to the rear and is so solid that it can withstand the launch acceleration.
The operation of the device according to FIG. 3 is as follows:
When fired, the film 13 collapses and the fuel flows into the oxygen-supplying material 2 . The two components are mixed by rotation. When the projectile hits the target and the detonator is converted, the charge 2 + 3 is mixed into a very heat-sensitive set, which picks up the ignition pulse, amplifies it and transfers it backwards into the projectile. The film 14 is in this case set up in such a way that it stops at launch but is not stronger, so that it tears when the charge 2 + 3 is ignited and builds up pressure in front of the film. The projectile cannot be fired before firing if the detonator should be fired unintentionally because the charge 3 consists only of fuel and cannot burn due to lack of oxygen.
It should be noted that the three embodiments described above examples that are shown schematically in the drawing, are only intended to illustrate the invention and that this many within the scope of the patent claims can be changed. It may therefore be advisable to remove one to use more than two components of existing cargo. The a charge may consist of neutral particles, the purpose of which is to mix the two main components to accelerate. These particles can have a shape, for example and / or have their own weight, which of those of Main components differ. The particles of the main ingredients could also be designed with different shape and / or size be so that the mixing is accelerated.
