Die Eigenart der vorliegenden Ausführung liegt nun darin, daß das Nebenrad, wenn es selbst eine Fehlstelle hat, nicht um ein Sechstel, sondern um ein Drittel oder bei mehreren aufeinanderfolgenden Fehlstellen um entsprechend viel Sechstelumdrehungen weiterbewegt wird, so daß auch die Fehlstellen des Nebenrades soweit wie möglich unwirksam gemacht werden. -Die Greifer des Nebenrades tragen zu diesem Zwecke ebenso wie die des Hauptrades Anschlagstifte, die in der Zeichnung mit t bezeichnet sind. Auch diese sind so angeordnet, daß sie bei geschlossenen Greifern den für beide Räder gemeinsamen Anschlag u bewegen. Da erst bei Ruhestellung des Anschlages u die Entkupplung beider Räder eintritt, so kann sie erst erfolgen, wenn zwei geöffnete — also eine Kartoffel tragende — Greifer gleichzeitig (je einer am Hauptrad und am Nebenrad) an u vorbeigegangen sind, ohne ihn zu berühren. Das öffnen der Greifer und damit das Abwerfen der Kartoffeln geschieht durch Eingriff der Hebel ν in die Sperrkränze w der einzelnen Greifer d, und die Hebel ν werden bewegt durch Anschlag an den Bügel x. Die Gesamtanordnung ist nun derartig, daß die etwaige Entkupplung des Hilfsrades kurz vor dem Moment des Ablegens der Greifer eintritt. Dadurch wird erreicht, daß das Hilfsrad stets so stehen bleibt, daß der kurz vor dem Abwerfen stehende Greifer jedesmal eine Kartoffel halten muß, da er, wenn dies nicht der Fall ist, ja den Anschlag u beeinflußt hat und die Entkupplung eben um einen Greifer später eintritt.
