Die Erfindung betrifft eine weitere Ausbildung und Vereinfachung des Dampfkessels nach Patent 266024, dadurch, daß einmal die in sich zurückkehrenden Verdampfungsröhren räumlich getrennt vom Oberkessel angeordnet und mit diesem durch Anschlußstücke lösbar verbunden sind, und daß ferner der Oberkessel mit dem nach Patent 266024 vorgeschalteten Unterkessel i unmittelbar verbunden ist, also eine Vereinigung der bei dem Hauptpatent vorgsehenen beiden Oberkessel zu einem Oberkessel stattgefunden hat. Durch die räumliche Trennung der Verdampfungsröhren von dem Oberkessel wird insbesondere erreicht, daß jedes einzelne Verdampfungsrohr schnell und in einfachster Weise ohne wesentliche Beeinflussung der Heizflächengröße abgeschaltet oder ausgewechselt werden kann. An sich ist die Auswechselbarkeit von Teilen der Heizfläche bei Dampfkesseln bereits bekannt. Bei diesen bekannten Dampfkesseln sind jedoch in sich geschlossene Verdampfungsröhren gemäß dem Hauptpatente 266024 nicht vorhanden, und außerdem sind bei diesen Kesseln nur Gruppen von Verdampferelementen auswechsel- bzw. abschaltbar, was einen verhältnismäßig großen Verlust an Heizfläche zur Folge hat.
