aromatischer Stibinsäuren.aromatic stibic acids.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 6. August 1912 ab.Patented in the German Empire on August 6, 1912.
Salts of the primary aromatic stibic acids are so far only available through the inaugural dissertation von Hasenbäumer, Rostock 1898, became known. He describes there the "phenylantimonic acid" soda, and potash as "easily dissolvable masses". From one He refrained from investigating these salts because of these properties. The phenylantimonic acid He describes ammonium as "non-existent". He found very similar properties for the salts of tolylantimonic acid fixed.
In attempts to produce neutrally reacting alkali salts of the aromatic In contrast to the Hasenbäumer statements, and partly also in contrast to other chemical analogies, stibic acids were found the following surprising conditions:
i. The aromatic stibic acids are capable with varying amounts of alkali in the solid state to form isolable salts, which are differ by the reaction of their solutions against litmus.

Stable salts which are readily soluble in water with a neutral reaction can be used produce. These contain less than 1 mole of alkali for 1 mole of stibic acid. In this behavior the aromatic stibic acids differ sharply from the arsinic and phosphinic acids; was in no way the same to foresee. Those made with more alkali or, according to Hasenbäumer, with soda Alkali salts are by no means, as Hasenbäumer states, "dissolvable masses".
In contrast to Hasenbäumer's statements, the ammonium salts are stable; at the Heating their solution they lose some of their ammonia and go in harder soluble salts containing less than 1 mole of ammonia to 1 mole of stibic acid.
B. überschüssige' Alkalilauge oder Kochsalzlösung, das stibinsäureAccording to the present process, the new salts are prepared by adding aromatic Stibic acids are mixed with alkali until a neutral reaction or in excess and in the latter case with a suitable one Acid blunts the excess alkali until a neutral reaction has occurred. The so obtained solution is either brought to dryness by evaporation or from it by adding alcohol, saline or another suitable precipitating liquid the neutrally reacting stibic acid alkali is precipitated. One can also use stibic acid Dissolve in excess alkali and remove the alkaline solution by adding of precipitants, e.g. B. excess' alkali or saline solution, the stibic acid
Precipitate alkali, filter off and so long with a neutral precipitating liquid, e.g. B. Saline or alcohol, wash out until both the outflowing filtrate and the filter residue react neutrally. Are in the solid obtained by evaporation or precipitation., neutrally reacting alkali salts of the aromatic stibic acids nor contaminating salts contained, the stibic acid ίο salt is extracted using hot methyl alcohol and extracted it is then in a pure, solid state by evaporation of the methyl alcoholic solution.
2,5 g (i Mol.) Of phenylstibic acid are suspended in 25 ecm of water and added of 10 ecm n / sodium hydroxide solution brought into solution. The clear solution is then precipitated by adding 20 percent sodium hydroxide solution, suctioned off and until it disappears the alkaline reaction washed with saline solution. From the salt thus obtained easy to maintain, neutral solutions can be produced.
2,5 g (1 Mol.) Of phenylstibic acid are suspended in water and dissolved by flowing in 50 ecm of sodium hydroxide solution. The excess,: excess of sodium hydroxide solution is bound by titration (dotting on litmus) with η / sulfuric acid, for which about 20 ecm are required. The resulting cloudy solution is heated for a few hours on a water bath, the cloudiness is filtered off and the clear filtrate is evaporated to dryness. The residue is dissolved in hot methyl alcohol, the sodium sulfate which remains undissolved is filtered off and again evaporated. The residue obtained is a salt of phenylstibic acid which is easily soluble in water with a neutral reaction and which, after consumption of alkali, contains about 1 Z 3 atoms of sodium per 1 mol.
Phenylstibinsäure enthält.Contains phenylstibic acid.
The sodium salt of acetyl-p-amidophenylstibic acid is prepared based on example 3 of patent 254421 in such a way that the alkaline reaction liquid is saturated with carbonic acid, precipitated impurities are filtered off, neutralized with acetic acid, filtered again and the stibic acid salt is obtained from the clear filtrate using sodium sulfate salting out. The salted out precipitate is filtered off, separated from inorganic additions by dissolving in hot methyl alcohol and recovered by evaporating the methyl alcoholic solutions. The salt obtained in this way is soluble in water with a neutral reaction; titration indicates that there is about Y 3 atoms of sodium for 1 mole of acetylp-amidophenylstibic acid in the salt. It contains crystal water.
Parts of p-amidophenylstibic acid are prepared in a 4 parts caustic soda Sodium hydroxide solution and the resulting alkaline solution with acetic acid neutralized. It is filtered and the sodium salt is precipitated with alcohol, which after the Wash and dry easily and is soluble in water with a neutral reaction.
The aromatic stibic acids are characterized by the fact that they are used according to the present Process transformed into its neutral soluble salts, into one for therapeutic use, especially suitable for injections.
