Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Herstellen von Streifen aus trennbaren Verpackungsbeuteln
gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
Eine derartige Vorrichtung ist aus der FR-PS 13 56 992 bekannt, die jedoch lediglich zur Verarbeitung
von thermoplastischem Material dient, so daß ein genaues Einhalten der Messertemperatur nicht erforderlich
ist. Beim Verarbeiten von orientierten Schlauchfolien ist es dagegen wichtig, daß das Messer über eine
bestimmte Temperatur hinaus nicht erwärmt werden 4(l
darf, da sonst die im Schneidbereich liegenden Folienenden zurückspringen und miteinander wulstförmig
verschweißen würden.
Ferner ist aus der US-PS 29 97 905 eine Vorrichtung zum Zerschneiden von Folie in Stücke bekannt, bei der '^
das Schneidmesser über eine Heizleitung erwärmt wird. Dabei wird durch die Heizleitung erhitztes öl
umgewälzt. Da mit dem Erwärmen des Messers das Schneiden erleichert werden soll, ist ein relativ großer
Temperaturbereich zulässig.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, eine Vorrichtung nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 zu
schaffen, mit der die Schläuche aus orientierter Plastikfolie sicher perforiert und benachbart zur
Perforation verschweißt werden können, ohne daß im 5r>
Bereich der Perforationslinien Verschweißungen auftreten.
Diese Aufgabe wird entsprechend dem kennzeichnenden Teil des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
Hierdurch wird es ermöglicht, daß das Messer zum bn
Anbringen der Perforationen auf einer konstanten Temperatur gehalten wird, wobei das in dem benachbarten
Kanal befindliche Wärmeübertragungsmittel Wärme von dem Messer abführt, die u.a. auch davon
herrühren kann, daß die Umgebungstemperatur an- bl
steigt und damit zu einer Erhöhung der Temperatur des Messers führen würde, wenn diese Wärme nicht von
dem Messer abgeführt werden würde.
Weitere Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen enthalten.
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand des in den Abbildungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels näher
erläutert
F i g. 1 ist Draufsicht auf eine Ausführungsform der
erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung, die an einem Schweißkopf einer Plastikbeutelproduktionseinrichtung installiert
ist.

F i g. 3 zeigt eine vereinfachte schematische Ansicht im Schnitt, die die hauptsächlichen Bauteile der
erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung zeigt
F i g. 1 zeigt einen Schweiß-Schneid-Kopf 21 über einer Bahn aus schlauchförmigem Folienmaterial 13 in
einer Plastiktaschenproduktionseinrichtung. Wenn der Kopf 21 wiederholt abwärts auf das kontinuierlich
vorwärtsbewegte Folienmaterial 13 gedrückt wird, werden Beutel 11 durch eine den Boden bildende
Schweißnaht 15 gebildet, die sich transversal über die Breite des Schlauchs erstreckt, wobei dicht benachbart
von jeder Schweißnaht 15 eine Reihe von Perforationen 17 durch beide Lagen des Folienmaterials 13 vorgesehen
werden. Das Folienmaterial, das zwischen den Perforationen 17 verbleibt, bildet Verbindungen 19, die
die Beutel in der Bahn zusammenhalten.
Der Kopf 21, wie er in Fi g. 2 dargesttllt ist, besitzt
ein Messer 27, einen Schweißstab 29, eine Wärmequelle 31 und andere Geräteteile, die im vorliegenden Rahmen
nicht interessant sind, die sämtlich auf einer Platte 23 angeordnet sind, die vertikal hin- und herbeweglich an
der Beutelformstation angeordnet ist. Das Messer 27 ist auf dem Schweißstab 29 über isolierende Abstandshalter
33 montiert, wobei die Wärmequelle 31 diese beiden Elemente heizt, wobei der Schweißstab 29 auf einer
Temperatur gehalten wird, um ein Heißsiegeln der Folienlagen zum Bilden der Beutelböden zu bewirken,
während das Messer 27 auf einer Temperatur gehalten wird, um die Schnittkanten der Perforationen des
Folienmaterials zu erwärmen. Wie aus F i g. 3 ersichtlich, wird ein schlauchförmiges Folienmaterial 13 unter
dem Schweißstab 29 und dem gezahnten Messer 27 auf einer nachgiebigen Unterlage 35 angeordnet, unter der
sich eine Grundplatte 37 befindet. Wenn das Folienmaterial in die gezeigte Position vorbewegt ist, wird der
Schweißstab 29 zusammen mit dem Messer 27 abwärts bewegt, um im wesentlichen gleichzeitig eine Schweißnaht
mit dem Schweißstab 29 und eine Reihe von durch Verbindungen 19 getrennte längliche Perforationen mit
dem erwärmten Messer 27 zu bilden. In der in F i g. 3 dargestellten Stellung hat das Messer 27 eine der
beiden, und zwar die obere Lage des abgeflachten Folienmaterials durchschnitten und befindet sich mit
seinen Schneidkantenzähnen in beginnender Schneidberührung mit der Oberseite der unteren Lage des
Schlauchs. Der Abstand zwischen den Lagen ist in der Zeichnung zur besseren Illustration übertrieben dargestellt.
Tatsächlich befinden sich die Lagen während der beschriebenen Beutelherstellungsvorgänge in Berührung.
Ein Kanal 39 befindet sich benachbart zum Messer 27. In der dargestellten Ausführungsform ist der Kanal 39
im Querschnitt rechteckig und besitzt in Draufsicht eine gebogene Form, die im wesentlichen der Gestalt des
Messers 27 und des Schweißstabs 29 entspricht. Der Kanal ist an seinen Enden mit Verbindungsstücken zur
Aufnahme von Leitungen 41,43 versehen. Der Kanal 39 wird durch einen festgeklemmten Bügel 45 in seiner
Position gehalten, der vollständig um den Schweiß-Schneid-Kopf
21 herum verläuft
F i g. 3 zeigt schematisch, wie die Leitungen 41,43 den
Kanal 39 mit einem Wärmetauscher 49 und einer Pumpe 51 verbinden, die mit dem Wärmetauscher 49 verbunden
ist, um ein Wärmeübertragungsmedium durch den Wärmetauscher, die Leitungen und den Kanal zirkulieren
zu lassen.
Eine erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung wird in einer Verpackungsbeutelanlage installiert, die an den Enden
miteinander verbundene trennbare Verpackungsbeutel gesonderter Größe herstellt Abhängig von der Größe
des Schweiß-Schneid-Kopfes werden Kanäle 39 unterschiedlicher Länge an dem Messer angeordnet Die
Kanäle sind aus quadratischen halbharten Kupferrohren mit etwa 1,6 cm Kantenlänge und einer Dicke von
0,08 cm hergestellt Das Wärmeübertragungsmittel ist ein Transformatorenöl. Ein Wärmetauscher, der an
einer Pumpe mit einer Leistung von 265 i/min angeschlossen ist die von einem Drei-Phasen-Elektromotor
für 230 V mit 0,5 kW. 1750 U/min betrieben wird, versorgt eine Vielzahl von Schweiß-Schneid-Köpfen
der Anlage. Ein Vorratsbehälter mit 3301 ist vorgesehen, um als Sammler für das öl zu dienen. Jedes der
Messer wird auf einer Betriebstemperatur von 70 bis 90° C, möglichst von 78,5° C gehalten, indem es von dem
Schweißstab Wärme aufnimmt der durch eine Wärmequelle 31 erwärmt wird, und Wärme an das durch den
zugehörigen Kanal 39 strömende -Öl abgibt Der
ι η ölstrom durch jeden einzelnen Kanal 39 wird durch eine
Eintrittsöffnung an der ölzuführleitung des Kanals auf 5,7 bis 7,6 l/min eingestellt. Wenn die gewünschte
Temperatur von 78,5° C am Messer auf diese Weise aufrecht erhalten wird, wurde gefunden, daß die
H öltemperatur in dem beschriebenen System sich auf
etwa 6O0C ± 3°C stabilisiert. Wenn die öltemperatur
auf über 63° C ansteigt, wird Kühlwasser durch den Wärmetauscher geleitet, um eine Erniedrigung der
Temperatur in dem gewünschten Bereich zu bewirken.
Hierbei wird bei einer Umgebungstemperatur von 20 bis 23°C gearbeitet.

Claims (3)
1. Vorrichtung zum Herstellen von Streifen aus trennbaren Verpackungsbeuteln aus orientierten ■»
Plastikfolienschläuchen mit einem beheizten Messer zum Anbringen von Perforationen und einem
Schweißstab, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Messer (27) im Bereich des Schweißstabs
(2S) angeordnet ist und mit einem benachbarten Kanal (39) im Wärmeaustausch steht, der an einen
Wärmeaustauscher (49) angeschlossen ist, wobei Mittel (51) zum kontinuierlichen Umwälzen eines
Wärmeübertragungsmediums, das praktisch auf der vorgegebenen Messertemperatur haltbar ist, durch is
den Kanal (39) und den Wärmetauscher (49) vorgesehen sind.
2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Messer (27) von dem Schweißstab
(29) durch einen isolierenden Abstandshalter (33) getrennt ist und Messer (27) und Schweißstab (29)
von einer benachbart zum Schweißstab (29) angeordneten Wärmequelle (31) beheizbar sind.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Wärmeübertragungsmittel
in dem Kanal (39) öl ist.
