Um beim Anprall an ein Hindernis das Herausschleudern der Insassen aus dem Motorwagen zu verhindern, ist nach der Erfindung ein unter Kraftschluß stehendes Fangdach mit einem nachgiebig gelagerten Stoßfänger derart lösbar verbunden, daß beim Anprall des Stoßfängers an ein Hindernis das Fangdach ausgelöst wird und sich selbsttätig über den zur Aufnahme der Fahrzeuginsassen dienenden Raum erstreckt.
