Abstract

The interlocking composite walling building block is suitable for dry masonry walling in industrial building as well as in agricultural or other outdoor structures. It is in the form of a rectangular unit (1), with conical cutouts (2) which narrow outwards. The remaining tongues can fit into the cutouts of an adjacent block, and separation cannot be effected by horizontal forces without destroying a block. Blocks may be mutually offset so that there are no joint gaps running continuously from outside to inside. In erecting walls of different thickness, gaps between cutouts and tongues can be filled with sand, gravel or concrete.
