Verfahren zum Färben mit Anilinschwarz.Method of dyeing with aniline black.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 4. Januar 1912 ab.Patented in the German Empire on January 4, 1912.
The invention relates to the production of aniline black on woven fibers and woven fabrics of all kinds and is essentially characterized by the application of ozone as an oxidizing agent.
It has been found that through the use of ozone in the production of aniline black on spun fibers, especially on silk and cotton or mixtures of silk, wool and cotton, a very beautiful black quickly and effectively and with relatively few resources can be won. When the new process is carried out, the fibrous materials first impregnated with a solution made from an aniline salt, for example aniline chlorohydrate, with or without the addition of a suitable soluble oxidizing agent such as sodium chlorate, consists. The presence of such a soluble oxidizing agent has generally been found turned out to be advantageous. It is also useful to use the impregnation solution in known way a suitable catalytic agent, such as copper sulfate, as well as auxiliary additives both
Darauf werden die Fasern der Einwirkung von Ozon ausgesetzt, wobei gewisse Bedingungen zu beachten sind, wenn man ein möglichst gutes Ergebnis erzielen will.admit, which are used to regulate the acidity and other properties of the bath. For this purpose, ammonium chloride, rubber, resin, glycerine and the like come into consideration. To this Way, the present special circumstances can be taken into account and the solution adapted to the various properties of the fabric to be dyed. The solution is expediently driven into the tissue or the like by the fact that the tissue before it is exposed to the action of ozone, dried, pressed or other suitable means Way is treated. During the impregnation and drying of the fibers takes place partial oxidation of the aniline salt takes place. On it become the fibers of the action exposed to ozone, with certain conditions to keep in mind when taking a possible wants to achieve a good result.
So it has been found to be advantageous that the goods during the entire duration kept moist or wet after treatment with ozone. This can be, for example can be achieved in that the ozone gas used for the treatment is saturated with water vapor will.
Die Zeitdauer hängt von den Einzelheiten der Behandlung sowie von denIt has also been found that the use of ozone in low or medium Concentration gives the best results. Therefore ozonated air is expediently used, which does not contain more than 5 g of ozone per cubic meter. Finally, it has been found to be beneficial to use the ozone at more ordinary To apply air temperature. The duration of the process can be that the ozone is in intimate contact with the individual fibers of the fabric to be treated should be shortened considerably. At the same time, this treatment creates a better and more even coloring achieved. Treatment with ozone continues until until the desired degree of oxidation is reached. The length of time depends on the details of the treatment as well as on the
Properties and weight of the goods. With an average weight of the piece of cotton and a concentration of ozone of about 2 g in cubic meter of air becomes a very satisfactory result already achieved in about 15 minutes. After treatment with ozone, the product becomes functional thoroughly washed in hot soapy water.
The various modes of treatment described above require proportionally little time compared to the time required for the previously customary dyeing processes with aniline was needed. In addition, the process can be carried out continuously, what is an advantage of quite considerable values, especially where it is the contract dyeing of Piece goods are traded, which were previously very time-consuming and costly.
1000 Teile Anilinchlorhydrat,
16 - Ammoniumchlorid,
15 - Kupfersulfat,The following compilation is mentioned as an exemplary embodiment for the dye bath:
1000 parts of aniline chlorohydrate,
16 - ammonium chloride,
15 - copper sulfate,
20 - Natriumchlorat,20 - sodium chlorate,
900 - Wasser.900 - water.
The use of this bath when performing the method described is one especially pure and deep black.
Any equipment can be used when performing the new staining process Find.
