Bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel werden die Pakete durch einen Halter 100, welcher in geeigneter Weise über der Maschinenplatte 101 bewegt wird, nacheinander den Stationen II bis V zugeführt. Auf diesen sollen die gefüllten, aber oben offenen Pakete geschüttelt werden, damit sich ihr Inhalt »setzt«. Zu diesem Zwecke sind auf jeder der Stationen II bis V Greifer vorgesehen, welche das Paket erfassen, anheben und auf den Boden 102 des Halters 100 fallen lassen. Jeder dieser Greifer, welche auf der Zeichnung bei Station II und III fortgelassen sind, besteht aus den festen Backen 1 und den' beweglichen Backen 2. Die festen Backen 1 sitzen an dem mit dem Bock 22 verbundenen Träger 3, auf welchem der die beweglichen Backen 2 tragende Schlitten 5 mittels der Platte 6 verschiebbar gelagert ist. Die Platte 6 und der Schlitten 5 sind mit je einem Auge 30 bzw. 31 versehen, welche durch eine Feder 32 miteinander verbunden sind. Letztere ist bestrebt, den Schlitten 5 nach innen, d. h. die beweglichen Backen 2 gegen die betreffenden festen Backen 1 zu ziehen (Fig. 2).In the illustrated embodiment, the packages are held by a holder 100, which is moved in a suitable manner over the machine plate 101, one after the other the stations II to V supplied. Letztere sind geöffnet, indem die Schiene 7 mit den Anschlägen 4 durch die beschriebene Bewegungsvorrichtung für den Schlitten 50 so weit nach vorn bewegt wird, daß die Zangen i, 2 geöffnet werden. Hierauf wird der Bock 22 gesenkt, bis der obere Paketrand innerhalb der Zangen 1, 2 gelangt ist (Fig! 2). Sodann werden letztere dadurch geschlossen, daß die Schiene 7 mit den Anschlägen 4 zurückbewegt wird. Nun erfolgt ein Anheben des Bockes 22, wobei das Paket durch die Zangen 1, 2 angehoben wird, bis die Rolle 43 gegen den Anschlag 47 stößt. Infolgedessen wird der Schlitten 5 nach rechts (Fig. 2) bewegt, wodurch die Zangen 1, 2 geöffnet werden und das Paket nach unten auf die Platte fällt. Hierauf bewegt sich der Bock 22 wieder nach unten, wobei die Zangen 1, 2 nach Verlassen des Anschlages 47 sich zunächst schließen, dann aber dadurch, daß die Schiene 7 mit den Anschlägen 4 auf die Zangen zu bewegt wird, noch oberhalb des Paketrandes wieder geöffnet werden, so daß das vorbeschrieb'ene Spiel von neuem beginnt.
