In Verbindung mit dem Abzug des Gewehrs steht ein kleiner Schieber f (Fig. 5) mit gabelartigem Kopf, in dem das zugeschärfte Ende der Schiene c zu liegen kommt und so gehalten wird, daß Visier und Korn feststehen. Sobald der Abzug angezogen, etwa Druckpunkt genommen wird, gibt der gabelförmige Kopf des Schiebers f das Ende der Schiene c frei, so daß sie hin und her pendeln kann. Durch die Winkelform der Gabel oder Rast wird das Pendel bei seinem Ausschwingen bis zur Senkrechten kraftschlüssig geführt, so daß dadurch ein Pendeln über die Senkrechte hinaus vermieden wird.
