Hierbei kann gleichzeitig, wenn erwünscht, auch eine Innenbohrung in der Walze durch einen innerhalb der Metallbuchse angeordneten Bohrer hergestellt werden. Es lassen sich hierbei mit großer Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit maßgerechte Walzen oder Zylinder herstellen, wobei man zweckmäßig so vorgeht, daß man durch Schneidbohren Zylinder oder Walzen größerer Länge herstellt und aus diesen Längen die entsprechenden Abschnitte der gewünschten Größe der Walzen oder Zylinder abtrennt.
