Description

  • Schweissbackenanordnung zum Verschweissen von Xunststoffolien Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Schweissbackenanordnung zum Verschweissen von Eunststoffolien, mit gegenüber dem Backenkörper durch eine Eunststofflage isoliert angeordneten Schweisslitzen, die ihrerseits durch eine Isolierfolie abgedeckt sind.
  • Derartige Schweissbacken dienen zum Verschweissen von endlosen Kunststoffschläuchen zu Beuteln (Doppel-Schweissbacken) oder zum einfachen Zuschweissen von vorher gefertigten Beuteln (Einfach-Schweissbacken).
  • Doppel-Schweissbacken- werden beispielsweise bei vollautomatisch arbeitenden Beutelabfüllmaschinen eingesetzt.
  • Diese Beutel-Abfüllmaschinen sind mit Einrichtungen bestückt, mittels derer auf Rollen aufgezogene Kunststoffolie (200 bis 1000 m lang) automatisch so um den Füllstutzen der Maschine geformt und eine Längsnaht geschweisst wird, dass ein endloser Schlauch entsteht. Dieser so gebildete Schlauch wird zwischen die auseinandergefahrenen erfindungsgemässen Schweissbacken geleitet und nach dem Zusammenfahren der Schweissbacken durch eine untere Quernaht zu einem Beutelgefertigt. Die Schweissbacken fahren auseinander, und die Abfüllmaschine füllt ein vorher eingestelltes Volumen oder Gewicht in den entstandenen Beutel. Während dieses Füllvorganges senkt sich der Beutel auf eine Auflage, die in der Höhe so eingestellt ist, dass sich die Schweissbacken Jetzt etwa-ts~über dem Niveau des Füllgutes im Beutel befinden. Die in diesem Fall verwendeten Doppel-Schweissbacken fahren wieder zusammen und legen zwei einfache oder zwei doppelte Querschweissnähte.
  • Vor dem Auseinanderfahren der Schweissbacken trennt ein Messer den Kunststoffolienschlauch zwischen der Doppelschweissnaht durch.
  • Die untere Schweissnaht wird der obere Verschluss des gefUllten Beutels und die obere Schweissnaht stellt die Bodennaht des nächsten zu fUllenden Beutels dar.
  • Dieser Vorgang wiederholt sich - je nach Beutelleistung der Maschine - bis zu 400 mal oder öfter in der Stunde.
  • Infolge der hohen Beanspruchung der Schweissbacken war es bisher erforderlich, diese in sehr kurzen Abständen von etwa 1 bis maximal 3 Tagen auszuwechseln, weil die Schweisslitzen durch einen an ihnen auftretenden Kurzschluss versagten. Dies führte zum Ausfall der Maschine, wobei der Ausbau der defekten Schweissbacken, der Einbau neuer Ersatz-Schweissbacken, der Anschluss des Kühlwassers, der elektrische Anschluss und das Ausrichten 1 bis 2 Stunden erforderten, während ein Instandsetzen defekter Schweissbacken ebenfalls ca. 2 Stunden benötigte.
  • Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Schweissbacke mit vereinfachtem Aufbau und verlängerter Lebensdauer zu schaffen.
  • Dies wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch erreicht, dass die Schweisslitzen auf einer isolierenden Deckplatte mit mindestens 3 mm Wandstärke aufliegen und die Isolierfolie auf der Deckplatte haftend gehalten wird.
  • Als Folge der erfindungsgemässen Ausbildung wird eine bessere thermische Isolierung der Schweisslitzen erreicht, so dass die Schweissbacke mit einer geringeren Zufuhr elektrischer Leistung auskommt und dadurch der Verschleiss erheblich geringer ist.
  • Gleichzeitig wird durch diese verringerte Zufuhr auch eine bisher erforderliche Wasserkühlung nicht mehr notwendig, so dass ein erheblich einfacherer Backenaufbau erhalten wird, weil Wasserkanäle und Verschraubungen für Wasseranschlüsse an der Schweissbacke entfallen. Durch die erfindungsgemässe Verbesserung wird eine Lebensdauer der Schweissbacke von mehreren Monaten erzielt, während bei einem Durchbrennen der Schweisslitze dieser Schaden in ca. 5 bis 10 Minuten behoben werden kann, ohne dass die Schweissbacken mit ihren Wasseranschlüssen ausgebaut werden müssen.
  • Die Erfindung wird anschliessend anhand der Zeichnungen erläutert.
  • Es zeigen: Fig. 1 bis 3 eine Darstellung einer bekannten Schweissbacke äeweils in Seitenansicht, in Stirnansicht und in Teildraufsicht, Fig. 4 eine Einzelansicht der bekannten Schweisslitze, und Fig. 5 bis 8 entsprechende Ansichten einer erfindungsgemässen Schweissbacke.
  • In Fig. 1 ist eine Seitenansicht einer bekannten Schweissbacke dargestellt, aus welcher die Wasseranschlüsse ersichtlich sind, die bei dieser bekannten Anordnung erforderlich sind, um Kühlwasser dem in Fig. 4 unten gezeigten Kühlwasserkanal zuzuführen.
  • Wie aus Fig. 4 ersichtlich ist, werden zur Befestigung der Schweisslitze am Backenkörper isolierte Drähte verwendet, die in Nuten des Backeiikörpers eingeklemmt werden, um dabei die oberhalb und unterhalb der Schweisslitze angeordnete Isolierfolie festzuklemmen. Es ist unschwer ersichtlich, dass diese komplizierten Xlemmvorgange nur bei demontierter Schweissbacke durchgeführt werden können. Dabei muss die Isolierfolie in die Nuten eingelegt werden, anschliessend wird die Schweisslitze eingelegt und nochmals eine Isolierfolie darübergelegt. Dann wird zu beiden Seiten der Schweisslitzen ein isolierter Draht eingestemmt, welcher die Abdeckisolierfolie festhält und für seitliche Isolierung sorgt.
  • Bei der erfindungsgemässen Ausführung sind gemäss Fig. 8 keine Nuten erforderlich, an welchen irgendwelche Klemmelemente eingelegt werden, vielmehr erfolgt die Befestigung der Schweisslitzen 2 auf einer Abdeckplatte 4, die am Backenkörper befestigt ist, vorzugsweise mittels einer Schwalbenschwanzverbindung 5. Die über der Schweisslitze 2 angeordnete Isolierfolie 3 ist auf der Deckplatte 4 haftend befestigt, insbesondere durch Verkleben.
  • Im Gegensatz zur bekannten Nutenausbildung ist bei der erfindungsgemässen Anordnung eine Deckplatte 4 vorhanden, die infolge ihrer erheblichen Dicke von mindestens 3 mm eine wirksame thermische Isolation zwischen Schweisslitze und Backenkörper ermöglicht, so dass die notwendige elektrische Leistung verhältnismässig gering ist und damit eine lange Lebensdauer der Schweisslitze ermöglicht wird. Infolge der besseren thermischen Isolierung der Anordnung sind keine Kühlwasserkanäle und Anschlüsse erforderlich, so dass die Anordnung mechanisch sehr einfach ist und kostengünstig gefertigt werden kann.
  • Als Deckplatte 4 eignet sich beispielsweise eine Platte aus PTFE. Bei dieser Ausfuehrung ergeben die seitlich eingespannten, nur aufgelegten, Uberstehenden, mit Isolierfolie Uberdeckten Schweisslitzen an den Aussenkanten der Litzen eine sehr scharfe, saubere und dichte Schweissnaht.

Claims (4)

  1. Ansprüche
    Schweissbackenanordnung zum Verschweissen von Kunststofffolien mit gegenüber dem Backenkörper durch eine Kunststofflage isoliert angeordneten Schweisslitzen, die ihrerseits durch eine Isolierfolie abgedeckt sind, dadurch gekennrc(h zeichnet, dass die Schweisslintan t2) auf einer isolierenden Deckplatte (4) mit mindestens 3 mm Wandstärke aufliegen und die Isolierfolie (3) auf der Deckplatte haftend gehalten wird.
  2. 2. Schweissbacken nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Deckplatte (4) mittels einer sich über die Länge der Schweissbacken erstreckenden Schwalbenschwanzverbindung (5) mit der Schweissbacke verbunden ist.
  3. 3. Schweissbacken nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Wandstärke der Deckplatte zwischen 3 bis 4 mm liegt.
  4. 4. Schweissbacken nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Isolierfolie (3) auf der Deckplatte verklebt ist.
