Shower facilities, e.g. for apartments, swimming pools or communal showers at sports facilities generally contain a cold water supply, a water heater, the actual shower head, a shower tray and a. Drain for the used water.
A not inconsiderable amount is required for the water heating Energy is required, especially in the form of electrical energy or heating oil. With an electric water heater with an output of 20 KVJ, a KWh price of 12 Dpf. and a shower duration of 15 minutes, the costs for the Hot water preparation e.g. 60 Dpf. Per shower head «, For shower systems, that are used by many people for a large part of the day, therefore, significant energy costs are incurred at.
These energy costs can only be reduced by changing the temperature of the shower water or the shower time is decreased.
The invention is based on the object, with constant water temperature and constant amount of shower

v/assers die Energiekosten für die Warmwasserbereitung zu verringern.v / assers the energy costs for water heating too to decrease.
This object is achieved by the invention described in claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.
With the invention, the thermal energy present in the used shower water is partially recovered, by preheating the cold water flowing into the shower system. The invention is based on the knowledge that the used shower water still has a relatively high temperature of 36-37 ° and thus a considerable Has thermal energy.
The heat exchanger provided according to the invention is preferably arranged inside the shower tray. The Duschit pan itself can be designed as a heat exchanger. It is to be expected that the invention can reduce the costs for hot water preparation by about 70-80 % , so that, viewed over a longer period of time, a considerable saving in energy costs, for example electrical energy or heating oil, is achieved.
The invention is explained below using an exemplary embodiment.
In die Wanne 7 ist ein Einsatz 9 eingesetzt, derThe figure shows a shower head 1, a supply line 2, a Water heater 3, a supply line 4 and a heat exchanger designed as a shower tray 5. The heat exchanger 5 contains a trough 7, on the bottom of which a spiral-shaped Tube 8 is finally applied watertight. One end of the tube 8 is connected to the supply line 4 and the other end with the inflow 13 for the supply of cold fresh water tied together. In the tub 7, an insert 9 is used

In der Mitte des Bodens der Wanne 7 ist ein Abfluß 6 vorgesehen.with a circumferential piping 12 made of elastic material on the upper circumferential edge of the tub 7 hangs up. The insert 9 has an opening on one side 10 provided. In the middle of the bottom of the tub 7 is a drain 6 provided.
The mode of action is as follows. The cold fresh water flows from the inflow 13 in the direction 11 through the pipe 8 and the feed line 4 to the water heater 3. This supplies the shower water, heated to 39 for example, to the shower head via supply line 2 1. The water used for showering first flows in insert 9 and then through opening 10 at location 15 into the tub 7. There the water flows under its force of gravity in direction 14 between the individual turns of the spiral tube 8 through and then flows over the Drain 6 from. The outflowing, still hot shower water is therefore in contact with the pipe 8, -in the opposite Direction the cold fresh water flows. This is how it comes to a heat transfer from the still hot used shower water to the cold fresh water. Got this way Via the feed line 4 to the water heater 3 already preheated water, so that the energy for the water heating is reduced in the hot water heater 3. The water flowing through the supply line 4 to the water heater 3 can e.g. preheated to a temperature of 30. The cold fresh water at the inlet 13 generally has a temperature of 10 °. The thermal energy of the used shower water is thus partially recovered, so that in the water heater 3 less power is required. If the water heater 3 is an electric water heater, so can Power must be rated lower. If the water heater 3 is a mixer tap, it is sufficient for the generation of the warm Shower water at the supply line 2 a smaller amount of hot water.

To clean the device, the insert 9 can be taken out upwards or folded up, so that the possibly dirty spaces between the turns of the tube 8 can be cleaned by hand.
The shower tray 7 can also be designed so that it is in the middle is its highest point and slopes conically outwards. The water is then inserted 9 in the middle of the front Shower tray 7 headed. For this purpose, the opening itself can lie in the middle of the insert 9 or lie on the edge and above a pipe to be led to the middle. This solution has the thermal advantage that the used water is still hot first of all in the middle of the tub, where there is less material need to be heated than at the edge of the shower tray, where the heat dissipation would also be greater.
