Abstract

The injection pressure in a mould for fluid synthetic resins is controlled by sensing the pressure within the mould and either controlling the temp. of the incoming material or its flow rate accordingly. Temp. may be controlled by heaters located around or projecting into the sprue and flow rate may be controlled by a plug which projects into the sprue. Such control produces highly uniform batches of articles and is simple compared with the prior cut. The pressure sensing means is pref. a plug slidable, in response to the pressure of the injecte material, in a bore leading into the mould cavity.

Claims (3)

PATENTANSPRÜCHE 1. Kunststoff-Spritzgießmaschine zum Herstellen von Spritzguß-Formteilen, mit einer Spritzgießform mit mindestens einem Formhohlraum in den plastifizierte Kunststoffmasse einspritzbar ist, mit einer Druckmeßeinrichtung zum Messen eines Drukkes in der einspritzbaren, plastifizierten Kunststoffmasse, und mit einer Regeleinrichtung, die an die Druckmeßeinrichtung angeschlossen ist und über eine Steuereinrichtung den Druckverlauf im Formhohlraum regelt, dadurch g e k e n n -z e i c h n e t , daß die Druckmeßeinrichtung (26) in an sich bekannter Weise in der Spritzgießform (10) zur direkten Messung des Druckes im Formhohlraum (20) angeordnet ist, und daß die Steuereinrichtung ein an einer Stelle längs eines innerhalb der Spritzgießform (10) geführten Zufuhrkanals (14) für die einspritzbare Kunststoffmasse angeordnetes Ventilelement (96) zur Steuerung des Durchtrittsquerschnittes für die Kunststoffmasse vorgesehen ist, um den Durchtrittsquerschnitt mit Bezug auf den Druck im Formhohlraum derart zu variieren, daß ein vorbestimmtes Druckprofil der Kunststoffmasse einstell-- und aufrechterhaltbar ist.PATENT CLAIMS 1.
