Wenn nun an einzelnen Stellen die Dampfsperrschicht nicht exakt und fest am Beton anhaftet, was auch bei Anwendung größter Sorgfalt nicht immer zu vermeiden ist, dann kann sich ein direkt auf die Schicht wirkender Druck aufbauen, der zur stellenweisen Ablösung der Schicht und zur Blasenbildung Anlaß geben kann.
