Tank or pipeline system for liquids to be sunk into the ground
Tank or pipeline systems for liquids to be sunk into the ground, e.g. B. petrol and gasoline must be known to be isolated so that even with a z. B. by corrosion occurring leakage of the container or pipe wall no liquid can escape; The overfill protection of such tank systems must also be insulated accordingly. So far it was z. B. customary to cover such tanks or pipelines with an outer layer of bitumen. However, it has been shown that this does not offer sufficient security in the long term, since the mechanical strength of these insulating coverings is very low, i.e. H. they are sensitive to impact and scratching and have practically no compressive strength.
These disadvantages are avoided in the system according to the invention in that the tank or the pipeline has a multilayer coating made of plastic material, at least one middle layer of which is glass fiber reinforced.
The tank or the pipeline is expediently made of metal; In this case, a first layer of anti-rust varnish based on synthetic resin is advantageously provided, on which a hardened unsaturated polyester resin reinforced with glass fibers is applied, which in turn has an outer layer made of epoxy resins which is reinforced with a fabric made of organic material. It has been shown that such a multilayer insulation is perfectly tight and has the required strength.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject of the invention is shown for example; it shows:
Fig. 1 in vertical cross section a tank with overfill protection and
FIG. 2 shows a section analogous to FIG. 1 through a tank with a variant of the overfill protection according to FIG. 1.
In the example of FIG. 1, 1 is a tank made of sheet iron of a tank system z. B. for the storage of gasoline. 2 is the manhole and 3 is the associated cover plate. The tank system shown is completely sunk into the ground. The tank is enclosed by a concrete jacket 4 and an overflow shaft 5 made of concrete is arranged above the manhole 2 and is closed by a cover 6. The tank 1 itself is provided with a multilayer insulating coating 7. This coating, which also envelops the manhole 2, is expediently three-layered. A first layer of anti-rust varnish based on synthetic resin no. R 1847 is applied directly to the tank and acts as a barrier for the next layer; this second layer is made up of (e.g.
B. 600 g) unsaturated polyester resin, which is activated with 0.1% cobalt naphthanate and hardened with 50% methyl ethyl ketone, and (e.g. about 300 g) glass fibers (superfin with silane finish).
This second layer applied to the rust protection layer, which is made airtight in a suitable manner, serves as the actual tank insulation due to its perfect tightness and high mechanical strength. On this second layer, a relatively thin layer (e.g. 50 g) made of ethexoline resin, which is reinforced with 50 gram terylene fabric, is drummed free of air. Thanks to the waterproof terylene fabric, this outer protective layer provides perfect protection against chemical and physical attacks. The entire coating, the layers of which are perfectly connected to one another, has a thickness of at least 1 mm.
In order to also insulate the upper run shaft 5, which has a drain pipe 5a, accordingly, it is also lined with a multilayer plastic coating 8 of the type and composition described above. At the bottom of the shaft, this cover 8 is pulled up to the inner edge of the manhole 2 and is thus tightly clamped between the manhole flange and cover 3 when the tank is closed.
The variant shown in FIG. 2 differs from the example according to FIG. 1 only in the design of the overfill protection; here the shaft 5 is designed without overflow pipes, but has a recess 5b into which an emptying pump can be inserted.
It goes without saying that the coating 7 or 8, in addition to sheet iron tanks, can also be provided for concrete tanks or pipelines; instead of the anti-rust varnish, a first adhesive layer made of another plastic material, e.g. B. a polyester resin, or a reinforced polyester layer, as provided in the example described above as a second layer, can be applied directly to the concrete.
