Vorliegende Erfindung hat ein Korsett zum Gegenstande, welches den Körper der Korsettträgerin auch noch unter dem unteren Korsettrand umschließen soll, um ein Hervortreten des Unterleibes an dieser Stelle zu verhüten und dadurch ein glattes, faltenloses Anliegen des äußeren Kleidungsstückes zu bewirken und dem Auge wohlgefällige Körperlinien darzubieten.

Bei einem Korsett nach der Erfindung besteht das Wesentliche darin, daß vorn in jeder Korsetthälfte ein nachgiebiger, mit seinen aufrecht stehenden Seitenrändern am Korsettstoff befestigter Einsatz angeordnet ist und der Korsettstoff die innere Seite dieses aus Gurtgewebe gebildeten Einsatzes völlig überdeckt sowie quer über die Spannlinie so geteilt ist, daß beim Tragen des Korsetts der Einsatz nachgeben kann. Der Korsettstoff ist geteilt und unter dem nachgiebigen Einsatz als zwei voneinander getrennte Patten fortgesetzt, an denen in bekannter Weise die Strumpfträger angesetzt sind. Die eine Patte ragt unter jeder Korsettschließe in eine Verlängerung des Korsettstoffes hinein, während das untere Ende der anderen Patte mit der unteren Kante und vorderen Ecke des Korsettseitenteiles in Verbindung steht.
