Abstract
Description
Vehicle with air-ventilated space between the roof and roof lining The invention relates to a vehicle, in particular an electric vehicle, with at least one largely parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the space between Vehicle roof and headlining, openings for air outlet from the as well as a Heating for the passenger compartment. Well-known vehicles of this construction, as shown in the German patent specification 950 110 and the laid-open specification 2 126 667, 63c, 74, have the advantage that the heated air coming from the heater, which the space between the vehicle roof and the headlining in the direction Flows through from front to back, by heating the roof lining for wellbeing the occupant contributes and, if necessary, on the windshield and the rear window pane flows along from bottom to top or top to bottom, so that the panes fog-free being held.
The disadvantage, however, is that the freshly heated air only includes the mentioned Flows through space and then through openings in the body, preferably below the corner window of the vehicle, emerges into the open air. Since the Accordingly, air is only used to heat the roof lining, is the efficiency the heating, based on the warming of the passenger compartment, is very low. at The disadvantage of the arrangement according to the aforementioned laid-open specification is the necessity added, the heated air by additional blowers or the like exactly on one To align the entry gap for the space mentioned. Unless - which is hardly can exclude - a part of the so produced, along the inside of the windshield upward airflow on an obstacle, for example the sun visor, bumps, a deflection occurs, which causes an undesirable flow of air in the direction of can cause vehicle occupants seated in the vicinity.
The invention is based on the object of a vehicle of the initially to train described construction so that without additional heating and if possible, without the need to provide fans or the like, a considerable amount improved stimulus effect with regard to the ahrgastraumes occurs. The inventive The solution to this problem is characterized in that the air outlet openings in the front area of the vehicle roof, connections between the space and Forming negative pressure areas on the outer surface of the roof, are arranged and at least an inflow gap for the space in the area of the rear end of the passenger compartment is provided.
In the invention, therefore, a suitable choice of the position of the inflow gap on the one hand and the air outlet openings in the roof on the other hand for it made sure that only under the effect of the negative pressure that is applied to certain areas the outer skin of the vehicle forms during driving, an outflow of the im Passenger compartment located, already heated air through the space between Vehicle roof and headlining occurs. The air heated by the heater So does not get, as in the discussed prior art, directly into the Between the roof and the roof lining, but first in the actual Passenger compartment and is from there ultimately due to the negative pressure that occurs when driving sucked through the space mentioned, which then by the heat content the air to be discharged, which would otherwise be uselessly given off to the auxiliary air, excitement becomes.
From US Pat. No. 2,720,149, it is known that the space between the vehicle roof and the roof lining from the rear to the front. However, this is air that was previously in one behind the rear The cooling system located in the vehicle's seat has been cooled down and the off the said gap exits again in the front part of the passenger compartment.
The air flow is generated here by additional fans that for example, are arranged under the front seats.
Further details of the invention are given below with reference to FIG illustrated embodiments explained. Figure 1 shows schematically the top view of the passenger compartment of a passenger car equipped with the invention, while Figure 2 shows the in Figure 1 with I designated sectional view reproduces. Finally, FIGS. 3 and 4 show cross sections through the roof structure for two further embodiments of the invention.
If you first look at FIG. 1, you can see the windshield 1 and the rear window 2 of the vehicle. On the side there are side windows 3 and 4, which with the windshield 1 enclose the A-pillars 5 and 6.
The structure of the vehicle roof 7 is illustrated for one exemplary embodiment Figure 2. It can be seen between the vehicle roof 7 and the roof lining 8 extending space 9, which is preserved by local spacer inserts 10 here is. The intermediate space 9 is laterally sealed by the seal 11. Figure 2 further shows the side part 12, which forms the rain gutter 13 with its flange, the inner side part 14 and the roof reinforcement 15.
As can be seen in particular from FIG. 1, it is in the area of the rear window 2, i.e. above the same and above the rear areas of the side windows 3 and 4, an inflow gap 16 for the air in the passenger compartment into the space 9 intended. According to the arrows shown interrupted in Figure 1 results then an air flow within the space 9 from the rear to the front, and under the effect of the negative pressure that builds up on the outer skin of the Vehicle in the area of the air outlet openings 17 and 18 forms. Accordingly occurs the air to be discharged from the passenger compartment according to arrows 19 and 20 only then through the air outlet openings 17 and 18 when they are practically the entire Interspace 9 flows through and thereby the roof lining 8 is heated Has.
While in the embodiment of Figures 1 and 2 local Spacer inserts 10 are provided, Figure 3 shows a cross section through the roof structure, in which the space between the actual roof 21 and the roof lining 22 by an air-permeable filler material, for example a fiber material 23, is guaranteed. In the embodiment according to Figure 4 serves as a spacer insert a material in the manner of a corrugated iron 24 with beads 25, which are at least approximately extend in the direction of the vehicle's longitudinal axis or parallel to it. Of course you have to in the area of the air outlet openings 17 and 18 there are also transverse flow paths be provided.
