Abstract

The massage-strap, intended for stimulating and reviving slackening skin, and for intensive dry and under-water massage is made of an elastic smooth-surfaced plastics material or it may be made of a suitable grade of rubber. The belt is pliable and is provided with handles on both ends; the handled being provided with four grooves to accommodate the users fingers. The handles are of a generally cylindrical shape, the axis of the cylinders being at right angles to the plane of the strap. The belt carries long bristles on both sides; the bristles are set in a regular pattern, and are integral with the material of the belt. The bristles are slightly tapered and have blunt tips, to give intensive massage without excessive friction.
