Vorliegende Erfindung hat die Verbesserung einer Aufwickeltrommel für Fäden zum Zweck, wie sie in dem Hauptpatent 236584 beschrieben ist. Diese Aufwickeltrommel nach dem Hauptpatent ermöglicht es, einen Faden in selsttätigem Betriebe kontinuierlich seitwärts zu fördern. Zu diesem Zwecke ist die Oberfläche der Trommel in zwei Gruppen von Segmenten zerlegt, die radial zur Trommel und parallel zur Trommelachse bewegt werden.
