Gegenüber dem Hebel, an der Vorderseite der Scheere, bewegt sich in einem nach unten engen, nach oben erweiterten Bohrloch gⁿ ein Schliefspflock g¹ aus Messing, dessen Wulst g^m das Herausfallen desselben verhindert und an dessen unterem Ende ein Knöpfchen angelöthet ist. Die Oberfläche der Hülse ist in eine Scala von 30 cm eingetheilt. Vor Anlöthung des Messers ist auf die Hülse eine dieselbe umfassende, bewegliche Messingmuffe k geschoben, welche durch die Schraube i sich feststellen läfst. Gegenüber der Schraube i ist die etwa 4 cm breite und 6 cm lange Blechplatte j an der unteren Fläche der Muffe festgelöthet. Ist die Scheere geschlossen, so laufen die beiden Griffe d und /, der eine über dem anderen, parallel, Fig. 1.
