"Mehrschichtiges, verschweißbares Polsterteil"
Der Gegenstand der Erfindung befaßt sich mit einem mehrschichtigen im Hochfrequenzfeld verschweißbaren Polsterteil, beispielsweise fi · die Autoir.obilindustrie, mit einer zwischen einer Deckschicht aus thermoplastischer Kunststoffolie, z.B. aus PVC, und einer formstabilen Unterschicht, beispielsweise aus gegebenenfalls mit einem Schweißhilfsmittcl beschichteter Pappe oder dergleichen, vorgesehenen Schicht aus FVC-Schaumstoff.
In der Autoniobilindustrie werden solche aus Verbimdc.aterialien hergestellten Polsterteile zu Polsterzwecken, beispielsweise für Türen, benutzt. Hierbei ist es üblich, auf eine feste Unterlage, beispielsweise eine Pappe, die gegebenenfalls noch mit einem Schveißhilfsmittel beschichtet ist, eine schweißfähige Schauirstoffschicht, beispielsweise aus Veich-FVC-Schaum, aufzulegen und mit einer ebenfalls schweißbaren Kunststofffolie, beirpieisveise einer biaxial gereckten PVC-Folie abzudecken. Die ce.'3 sogenannte Polsterteil wird dann nittels Hf-Energie entlang meiner Ränder und auch gegebenenfalls noch rait Zwischennähten verschweißt. Es hat sich nun herausgestellt, daß die

Schweißnahtgüte des Weich-PVC-Schaumstoffes auf einer Pappe in ihrer Belastbarkeit relativ beschränkt ist, insbesondere den bei höheren Temperaturen ab etwa 8O0C auftretenden Schrumpf-Spannungen der PVC-Folie nicht mehr standhält, so daß dann die Gefahr besteht, daß die Schweißnähte aufreißen. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht nun darin, diesem Nachteil abzuhelfen und ein mehrschichtiges im Hochfrequenzfeld verschweißbares Polsterteil vorzusehen, bei dem eine höhere Festigkeit und Belastbarkeit der Schweißnaht gegeben ist.
Erfindungsgemäß wird daher vorgeschlagen, daß zwischen der PVC-Schaumstoffschicht und der formstabilen Unterschicht eine mit der PVC-Schaumstoffschicht verbundene Schicht aus mit einer PVC-PVAC-Dispersion oberflächig benetzten .Schv/eißv.-atte. vorgesehen ist. Bei dem gemäß der Erfindung verwendeten Verbundmaterial liegt also der verwendete PVC-Schaumstoff nicht mehr direkt auf der formstabilen Unterlage, d.h. der Pappe, auf, sondern nur noch zwischen der Schv/eißvatte und der Kunststoffolie, während die Schweißv.atte direkt auf der Unterlage aufliegt. Auf diese Weise wird einerseits eine einwandfreie Verschweißung zwischen PVC-Folie undFVC-Schaum gewährleistet, andererseits aber durch das Eindrücken der Schweißwatte in die Pappe während des Schweißvorgenges nach Art einer Verankerung eine einwandfreie und gut belastbare Haftung der Schweißnaht an der Pappe. Insbesondere bei höheren Temperaturen werden die Schrumpfspannungen der abdeckenden Kunststoffolie aufgefangen und ein Aufreißen der Schweißnaht vermieden. Die ausschließliche Verwendung einer Schweißwatte

würde den Anforderungen der Polsterung des Polsterteiles nicht genügen, da die Schweißwatte keine genügende Formstabilität, aufweist. Hier schafft der erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagene Verbundwerkstoff den Vorteil, daß einerseits die guten Qualitäten des PVC-Schaumstoffes für die Polsterung genutzt werden, andererseits jedoch die verbesserte Haftfestigkeit und Schweißnahtfestigkeit durch den zusätzlichen Einsatz der Schweißv/atte genutzt wird.
Ir. Weiterbildung der Erfindung wird vorgeschlagen, für die SchvC'ißv/atte unschmelzbare Fasern, wie CellulosefaFern, Acryjfasern, Cellulo&eacetatfa^ern oder dergleichen zu verwenden. Vorteilhaft ist eJne Zusammensetzung der Schweißwatte aus etwa 50 c,t Gevichtsanteilen Fasern und 50 Jf- Gewichtsanteilen PVC-PVAC zu verwenden. Im Rahmen der Erfindung sind jedoch auch andere Gev;ichtsanteile durchführbar, z.B. der Einsatz von etwa CO Ϊ; Fasern und hO % FVC-F/AC. Das PVC-PVAC kann durch Aufsprühen auf die Fasern aufgebracht werden. Zum Aufsprühen wird dann z.B. eine Fispersicn verwendet, die etwa 65 /'■ Feststoffanteile von FVC-F/AC aufweist. Der PVC-Anteil stellt dabei den Schweißmittel ante.Il dar, während der PVAC-Anteil den filsibildencen Anteil der Γ-ispersion darstellt. Dabei sollte der filmbildc-nde PVAC-Anteil etwa 15 ;' Gewichtsanteil des Feststoffgemisches von PVC-FVAC betragen. Mit dieser aufgesprühten Dispersion wird erreicht, daß die Cellulosefasern schweißfähig sind, wobei die aufgesprühten PVC-FVAC-Anteiie gleichmäßig an der Yiatte haften.

Es wird weiter vorgeschlagen, den PVC-Schaumstoff in Form von Bahnen mit der ebenfalls in Bahnen vorliegenden Schweißwätte vor dem Einsatz zum fertigen Polsterteil zu verbinden, so daß nur ein Verbundwerkstoff, der zu verarbeiten ist, vorliegt. Das Verbinden der Schaumstoffbahn mit der Schweißwattebehn kann beispielsweise dadurch erfolgen, daß die beiden Werkstoffe von zwei Rollen abgezogen und zu einer Bahn zusammengeführt werden, wobei die Schweißpaste mit Infrarot-Strahlern auf ca. 1200C erwärmt wird, so daß die Kunststoffanteile leicht anschmelzen, danach die beiden Bahnen zusammengeführt und durch den Aufwickeldruck beim Aufwickeln der Verbundbahn auf eine weitere Rolle der zum Zusammenhalten der Bahnen und Miteinanderverbinden nötige Druck erzielt wird.
Die Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung an einem Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt wird anhand dessen nachfolgend näher erläutert.
In der Zeichnung ist ausschnittsweise im Querschnitt ein mehrschichtiges Polsterteil dargestellt. Die feste formstabile Unterlage 1, beispielsweise Pappe, ist zweckmäßig mit einer dünnen Schicht Schweißhilfsmittel 2 versehen, z.B. durch Aufsprühen. Da bei dem vorgeschlagenen Polsterteil im wesentlichen im Hochfrequenzfeld verschweißbare Kunststoffe, wie PVC-Folie, PVC-Schaum usw. verwendet werden, wird als Schweißhilfsmittel beispielsweise eine Dispersion von PVC-PVAC aufgesprüht. Diese Dispersion zum Aufsprühen auf die stabile Unterlage enthält beispielsweise 50 bis 55 % Feststoffanteile. Es werden etwa

40 bis 60 g Dispersion per Quadratmeter aufgesprüht. Auf die zweckmäßigerweise in dieser Art vorbehandelte formstabile Unterlage wird dann die Verbundbahn 3, 4 aus einer Schaumstoffschicht, z.B. Y/eich-PVC-Schaum 4 und Schweißwatte 3, die aus 50 % Cellulosefasern und 50 % Gewichtsanteilen aufgesprühtem PVC-PVAC besteht, aufgelegt. Das spezifische Gewicht der verwendeten Schweißwatte kann je nach Verdichtungsgrad der Watte recht unterschiedlich sein, jedoch wird eine Schweißwatte mit einem spezifischen Gewicht von etwa 8 bis 14 kg je nr bevorzugt. Die Länge der Fasern darf nicht zu klein gewählt sein, sie kenn beispielsweise bei 20 mm liegen. Auf die Verbundschicht aus Schaumstoff 4 und Schweißwatte 3 wird oberseitig den Schaumstoff 4 abdeckend die Kunststoffolie 5, beispielsweise eine biaxial gereckte PVC-Folie, aufgelegt. Das so vorgestapelte Polsterteil wird dann anschließend im Hochfrequenzfeld verschweißt, wie die Schweißnaht 6 am Rand des Polsterteiles anzeigt.
Mit dem erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagenen Polsterteil gelingt es also, ein mit guter Formstabilität ausgerüstetes und hohe Belastbarkeit aushaltendes Teil herzustellen, das sich auch durch die Verwendung von im Hochfrequenzfeld .verschweißbaren Stoffen auszeichnet, so daß eine rationelle Fertigung ermöglicht ist.

Claims (3)

  1. Patentansprüche
    .J Mehrschichtiges im Hochfrequenzfeld verschweißbares Polsterteil, beispielsweise für die Autcmobl!Industrie, mit einer zwischen einer Deckschicht aus thermoplastischer Kunststofffolie, z.B. PVC, und einer formstabilen Unterschicht, beispielsweise aus gegebenenfalls mit einen Schweißhilf siiiitt&l beschichteter Pappe oder dergleichen, vorgesehenen Schicht aus PVC-Schaumstoff, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen der PVC-Schaunstoffschicht und der formstabilen Unterschicht eine mit der PVC-Schaurr.-stoffschicht verbundene Schicht aus mit einer PVC-PVAC-Dispersion oberflächig benetzten SchweiSv.stte vorgesehen ist.
  2. 2. Polsterteil nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekc-nnzdehnet, daß die Schweißwatte ε-us unschmelzbaren C&llulesefiserr», Acryl-fasern oder derrleichen hergestellt ist.
  3. 3. Polsterteil nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch ^eker-r-z&ichr.ct, daß die Schv/eißwatte aus etwa 50 K Gev/ichtssnxeilen Fsssrn und 50 % Gewichtsanteilen FVC-PVAC besteht.
