Description

KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL

PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.

The invention relates to an arrangement of the drive of electric vehicles, which enables Completely disconnect the electric motor. springs and yet directly on the drive axis to be arranged in such a way that the drive axis simultaneously forms the motor axis. this will achieved in that the motor, which concentrically surrounds the drive wheel axis, does not drives directly, but by means of a hollow intermediate shaft within which an articulated coupling is located which connects the intermediate shaft to the drive wheel axle; from the outside, however, this intermediate shaft is surrounded by another articulated coupling, which is shifted against the one lying inside and the power of the engine transfers to the intermediate shaft. The engine itself is attached to the vehicle frame and its weight is therefore completely cushioned.

Diese Triebachse A wird von derIn the drawing, an embodiment of the drive according to the invention is shown schematically. It designated A a drive axle of the vehicle with the two drive wheels B, B1. This drive axis A is of the

The hollow intermediate shaft C comprises and is connected to this by the articulated coupling G 1 .

A shifted to this second articulated coupling G 2 includes the intermediate shaft C from the outside and connects it to the rotating part (rotor) D of the electric motor, the stand is attached to the vehicle frame. In this way, the direct drive of the vehicle axle is achieved by the electric motor, without this axle being burdened by the unsuspended weight of the motor.
