KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
Die Vorrichtung besteht im wesentlichen aus einem breiten Netz, welches aus zwei oderThe present invention is a device to channels with flowing To clean water from leaves, pieces of ice, wood and the like. This device is mainly intended to in mill ditches and the like. Use and is set up so that it is for a any width of the channel can be applied. The device consists essentially from a broad network, which consists of two or

Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand dargestellt und zeigt Fig. ι eine Vorderansicht, Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht und Fig. 3 ein Detail.ίο is composed of several wire meshes, to prevent the network from warping. The subject of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing and shows Fig. ι a front view, Fig. 2 is a side view and Fig. 3 shows a detail.
Die Bewegung des Netzes wird dadurch hervorgerufen,The apparatus consists essentially of a strong frame α made of T-iron, in which an axle b is provided at the upper and lower end, which is equipped with a number of rollers d. The endless net c is stretched over these rollers d , so that with a suitable rotation of the axis b, the net c makes a similar movement. The movement of the net is caused by
Das Drahtgeflechtas that between the rollers d a number of chain wheels i are arranged, over which chains f are looped, to which the net is attached. However, the network is not directly associated with these chains, since this would easily tear the former and could not prevent warping. The chains are therefore initially equipped with transverse wooden strips h , which rest on running strips i , so that the network located on the transverse strips remains loose and elastic. As far as the apparatus is in the water, the chains g are covered by protective plates k , which are perforated to allow the water to pass through, so that the impurities cannot get directly to the chains again. The whole apparatus rests on an axis I in such a way that it swings about this axis and can thereby be rotated out of the water. The wire mesh is braided like a snake and is expediently made of galvanized wire; the effect is such that the impurities which are deposited in the network c are carried upwards with it and then fall into a box m which can be cleaned by a brush η. The brush η sits, as can be seen from FIG. 3, on an endless band 0, which is looped over axes φ and can be driven in any desired way. When the axis -p is rotated, two chains c take the brush η with them, so that it is moved lengthways through the box m and thereby removes the impurities that have been caught from it. In order leaves and other impurities, which remain hanging about on the network can also fall off, coming from the inside against each network an arm q, r by pins of a large sprocket is triggered s by the former at the turn of the wheel's arm Trigger q , which now swivels against the nets, with the mediation of a spring device, not shown here. The chains g of the apparatus can of course be tensioned accordingly so that the network receives the necessary tension. The wire mesh
B. durch das fließende Gewässer des zu reinigenden Kanals in Umdrehung versetzt wird.expediently consists of several parts t, t 1 etc. connected next to one another and the width depends on the channel which is to be treated with the apparatus. The way in which the axes b are set in rotation is irrelevant. They can be driven by motor power or by a water wheel, the latter z. B. is set in rotation by the flowing water of the canal to be cleaned.
