Diese so entstandenen eigentlichen Bürsten A A haben nun an beiden Enden ein Viereck h; dieses pafst in die an den beiden Schildern angebrachten Schlitze i und gestattet eine radiale Verstellung der Bürsten, sobald dieselben durch den Gebrauch sich abgenutzt haben; das Festhalten dieser Bürsten in einer bestimmten Stellung erfolgt durch die Muttern k k. Ist die Bürste auf einer Seite abgenutzt, so wird dieselbe dann einfach herumgedreht. Durch den feststehenden Cylinder geht eine Welle //, auf welcher zwei Arme mm derartig befestigt sind, dafs die zwischen diesen Armen befindlichen Bürsten B B einen steilen Schraubengang bilden, welcher eine Bewegung des Malzes in Richtung der Achse bewirkt.
