Bei Trommeln mit einseitiger als auch bei solchen mit doppelseitiger Luftabsaugung oder Zuführung im Zentralrohr zeigt sich insbesondere bei größerem Trommelinhalt der Übelstand ungleichmäßiger Lüftung, dadurch hervorgerufen, daß beispielsweise bei Absaugung ' an der Anschlußseite des Saugrohres ein höherer Unterdruck entsteht als gegen das Ende des Zentralrohres bei einseitiger Absaugung bzw. gegen die Mitte bei doppelseitiger Absaugung. Dementsprechend gewinnt die Lüftung des Trommelinhaltes gegen die Stellen des großen Unterdruckes an Intensität, während gegen die Stellen geringeren Unterdruckes im Zentralrohr mangelhafte Lüftung auftritt. Damit verbunden sind örtliche Temperaturerhöhungen und nachteilige Beeinflussung des Keimprozesses. Vorliegende Erfindung will diesem Übelstande begegnen durch Einbau einer feststehenden Längswand g im Zentralrohr d bei doppelseitiger Luftführung.
