Um diese Schwierigkeiten zu vermeiden, wird in weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung nur der Gummi, der sich nach der Vulkanisation zwischen den Seilen sowie unmittelbar unter- und oberhalb der Seile befindet, unvulkanisiert in die Verbindungsstelle eingebracht, während für die Deckplatten ausvulkanisierter Gumml,verwendet wird, wobei die Deckplatten an ihrer den Seilen zugewandten Seite so vorbereitet sind, daß'sie sich mit dem unvulkanisierten Gummi gut verbinden.
