In Krümmungen stellt sich der Zapfen entsprechend der neuen Lage ein, wobei infolge der allseitig ausweichenden Federpolster sämtliche Kugellagerteile gleichzeitig mit dem Zapfen bewegt werden, so daß ein Verreiben oder Verklemmen im Lager ausgeschlossen erscheint.
