Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet die Gewinnung eines Stoffes aus Myrrhenharz, der
vermöge seiner Einwirkung auf Blut therapeutische Verwendung gestattet.
Der Stoff hat die Eigentümlichkeit, daß er sowohl in Wasser wie in Alkohol löslich ist,
während die übrigen Bestandteile des Myrrhenharzes entweder nur im Wasser oder nur im
Alkohol löslich sind. Demgemäß wird zu seiner Gewinnung derart verfahren, daß Myrrhenharz
zunächst mit Alkohol ausgezogen und darauf der nach Abdunsten des Alkohols verbleibende
Rückstand mit Wasser behandelt wird. Selbstverständlich kann auch der umgekehrte
