Die auf beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellte Wechselradanordnung zum Verändern der Geschwindigkeiten bei Papiermaschinen besteht darin, dafs zwischen dem Zahnrad der Antriebswelle und dem Zahnrad der getriebenen Welle ein Zwischenrad α eingeschaltet ist, dessen Mittel je nach der Gröfse und Stellung der beiden Räder <i so eingestellt werden kann, dafs Rad α mit b und c stets in Eingriff steht und die Bewegung überträgt. Es kann mit Hülfe dieser Einrichtung jedes der vorhandenen Wechselräder mit jedem beliebigen Wechselrad zur Verwendung kommen, da die Gröfse der beiden Wechselräder b und c zu einander nicht mehr durch den Abstand ihrer Wellenmittel bestimmt bezw. begrenzt wird. Das Zwischenrad α steckt auf einem Zapfen d, der durch Schraube e in der Verticalen verstellt werden kann.
