Auf der festen Holzfelge A ist der metallische Radkranz B von schwach konischem Querschnitt befestigt, der nahe seinen Rändern zwei längslaufende Rippen b besitzt und mit schwalbenschwanzförmigen, querlaufenden Ausschnitten C (Fig. 3) versehen ist. Die Rippen b haben den Zweck, eine gute Anpassung der zu verbindenden Flächen auch dann zu bewirken, wenn etwas Rost oder Schmutz an den Flächen haftet. Die eine unterschnittene Seite der Ausschnitte C ist gerade, während die andere Seite mit einer kreisförmigen Einbuchtung D zur Aufnahme einer Daumenplatte E versehen ist, die exzentrisch an einem durch den Radkranz B , und die Felge A reichenden Bolzen F befestigt ist. An der einen Seite hat jeder Lappen L einen Ausschnitt Z, der mit der Einbuchtung D des Radkranzes B in gleicher Höhe liegt und den Kreisbogen derselben vervollständigt. Sobald nun die Daumenplatte E mittels eines Vierkantschlüssels aus der in Fig. 5 ausgezogenen Stellung in die punktierte Stellung gedreht wird, übt der Daumen E eine Pressung auf die Innenfläche des Ausschnittes Z des Lappens L aus.
