Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine schnellvulkanisierende Kautschukmischung ;.
Es ist bekannt, daß Ultrabeschleuniger vom Thiuramtyp und Karban&ttyp zur Beschleunigung von Hatur-Kautschuk- und Synthese-Kautschuk-Mischungen verwendet werden, um einen hohen Vulkanisationsgrad bei kurzen Vulkanisationszeiten zu erreichen. Die früher häufig verwandten Beschleuniger Diphenylthiohamstoff bezw. -thiokarbanfrlid setzen mit der Vulkanisation sehr schnell ein, reagieren dann aber langsam zu mittleren Vernetzungsgraden. Andererseits ist bekannt, daß die Wirkung von Diph'enyltM<5sharnstoff von der Schwefeldosierung weitgehend unabhängig ist. Vulkanisate, die mit den Ultrabeschleunigem mit hohen Schwefelmengen kombiniert sind, haben im Vulkanisations-Optimum eine niedrige Einreißfestigkeit und neigen bei Wärmebehandlung zur Reversion.
Die Erfindung ist in der unerwarteten Erkenntnis zu sehen, daß Dosierungen von 0,1 bis 2,5 Diphenylthioharnstoff auf 100 Teile Kautschuk (phr) bei Schwefeldosierungen bis zu 5 phr in Gegenwart von Ultrabeschleunigern trotz hoher Vernetzungsgrade die Einreißfestigkeit wesentlich erhöhen.
Es werden daher bei Anwendung der vorgenannten Dosierungen Vulkanisationsvorgänge erzielt, die schnell auevulkanisieren, aber doch im Vulkanieations-Optimum

eine hohe Einreißfestigkeit erhalten und darüber hinaus nicht zur Reversion neigen.
Erklärung : Mit der Bezeichnung "Thiuramtyp" werden die Tetraalkyl- bzw. Dialkyl-aiaBylthiuram- Mono- oder Disulfide benannt.

Patentanspruch :
Schnellvullcanisierende Kautschukmischung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Diphenylthioharnstoff in Mengen von 0,1 bis 2,5 phr bei Schwefel-Dosierungen bis 5 phr in Gegenwart von Ultrabeschleunigern eingesetzt wird.
