Abstract
Description
Arrangement for corrosion protection of pipelines The invention relates on an arrangement for the corrosion protection of pipelines. Such arrangements are known in various embodiments. They regularly consist of one Insulation layer made of bitumen, plastic and the like from a mechanical one Protective jacket and from a cathodizing device. In the known embodiment the mechanical protective jacket consists of a layer wrapped around the insulation layer Layer of felt board or the like.
But protective jackets made of rubber, hard rubber or synthetic resin products are also known. High mechanical requirements are placed on the protective jacket, in particular when the pipeline is routed through rocky terrain and the protective jacket Absorb stresses from falling rocks and the like Has. - Regardless of the protection against mechanical loads, the pipelines must also be protected against corrosion. This is done with the help of cathodization devices achieved. These cathodizing devices either consist of anodes, which in some distance from the pipeline in the ground and which are insulated Line are connected to the pipeline, or by introducing external current into the ground, with the negative pole on the pipeline and the positive pole on an electrode is attached at a greater distance from the pipeline. The effectiveness of such Cathodization equipment assumes, however, that all damaged areas in the insulation layer as directly as possible from the anode or the electrode are attainable. The known protective coats made of wound material meet this requirement Material not, because they are not permeable. The invention is the task based on specifying an arrangement for the corrosion protection of pipelines, which thanks to optimal properties both in terms of corrosion protection and in With regard to protection against mechanical stress.
The invention relates to an arrangement for the corrosion protection of Rolf pipes, consisting of an insulation layer made of bitumen, plastic or the like, mechanical Protective jacket and cathodizing device. The invention is that the Protective jacket designed as a permeable plastic jacket.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the plastic jacket consist of assembled granules made of thermoplastic synthetic material. Furthermore the invention states that the individual grains of the granules have a diameter from 1 - 5 mm, preferably 3 mm.
The advantages achieved with the invention consist essentially in that the consisting of assembled granules made of thermoplastic material Protective jacket both sufficient protection against mechanical stresses as well has sufficient permeability, so that attached to the pipelines Cathodizing equipment can work effectively. As a material for the thermoplastic Polyethylene is recommended, but it can also be made of plastic any other plastic in the form of granules or spheres can be used.
In the following, the invention is illustrated by means of a single exemplary embodiment descriptive drawing in more detail; it show: Fif. 1 a section by an arrangement according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a section A from the object According to Fig. 1, Fig. 3, the plan view of part of the object according to Fig.
