Bisher benötigt man zum Aufstellen einer Einbauwanne eine eigene Ummauerung, die gesondert an Ort und Stelle errichtet werden muß und in die dann die Wanne hineingestellt wird. Das Aufstellen von Einbauwannen ist also ziemlich zeitraubend, umständlich und bringt noch dazu viel Schmutz mit sich. Weitere Nachteile ergeben sich daraus, daß die Wanne nicht richtig eingemauert, sondern in die Ummauerung nur eingesetzt ist. Es verbleiben zwischen Wanne und Ummauerung Hohlräume, die schallverstärkend wirken, wuQ besonders beim Einlassen des Wassers zu starker Geräuschbildung führt, und außerdem bieten die Hohlräume keine gute Wärmeisolierung, so daß das Wasser rasch abkühlt.So far, you needed your own walling to set up a built-in tub, which was separately on site and place must be built and in which the tub is then placed. Der Schaumstoffquader kommt an den für die Wanne bestimmten Platz, die Wanne wird in die Mulde eingesetzt und die Einbauwanne ist aufgestellt. Die Wanne paßt genau in die Mulde und es verbleibt praktisch kein Zwischenraum. Die relativ teuren Füße der Wanne werden nicht mehr benötigt, man erzielt durch den anliegenden Schaumstoff eine ausgezeichnete Schalldämpfung und gleichzeitig eine ideale Wärmeisolierung. Die Mulde ist mit einer schlitzartigen Ausnehmung 3 versehen, die an der dem Fußende der Wanne entsprechenden Querseite aufscheint. Diese Ausnehmung 3 schafft für das Überflußrohr der Wanne Platz und erleichtert zusätzlich das Aufstellen der Wanne. Weiters kann an der Quaderlängsseite, und zwar im Bereich der schlitzartigen Ausnehmung 3 eine öffnung 4 vorgesehen sein, die einen bequemen Zugang zum Überfluß- bzw. Abflußrohr der Wanne für Reparatur- oder Reinigungsarbeiten bietet.
