Zur Verbindung der Rohre kann aber auch eine Muffe verwendet werden, die innen konische Abschrägungen aufweist, in die die mit zylindrischen Begrenzungsf#ächen versehenen erwärmten Enden der ineinanderzufü-genden Rohre von beiden Seiten her eingeschoben vi:rden können. Selbstverständlich können auch bei Rohrverbindungen mit oder ohne Muffe Rohre mit konischer Abschragung in Verbindung mit solchen gebracht werden, die die konische Abschrägung nicht haben. So können in beliebigen Variationen Rohre miteinander verbunden werden, wobei lediglich zu beachten ist, daß wenigstens eines der zu verbindenden Rohr-oder Muffenenden eine Abschrägung hat.
