Abstract

Die üblicherweise verwendeten Stanz- oder Schneidwerkzeuge für den Zuschnitt von Verpackungen weisen zwei relativ zueinander bewegliche Tragplatten auf, von denen die eine die Schneidplattenanordnung und die andere die dazu korrespondierende Schnittstempelanordnung trägt. Bei den herkömmlichen Stanz- und Schneidwerkzeugen ist die Schnittplattenanordnung entweder aus einem Teil gefertigt oder besteht aus zwei gegenüberliegenden Schnittplatten, welche den Schnittspalt begrenzen. Der Nachteil dieser bekannten Stanz- und Schneidwerkzeuge besteht darin, daß die Schnittplatten selbst bei lokalen Beschädigungen komplett ausgebaut und ersetzt werden müssen. Dies ist besonders in der Verpackungsbranche von Bedeutung, weil dort rund um die Uhr verpackt wird und eine eventueller Schaden an einen Stanz- und Schneidwerkzeug eine Störung der gesamten Fertigungslinie und einem dadurch bedingten Produktionsausfall zur Folge hat. Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Stanz- und Schneidwerkzeug sind die Schneidbahnen außerdem modular aufgebaut und sind somit beliebig erweiterbar.
