Description
The invention relates to a bicycle frame, in particular a mountain bike or Trekking frame.
Especially bicycles that in uneven terrain are often used a rear swing arm. The rear swing arm is over a in a swing arm bearing housing arranged swing arm pivotally held on a support tube. With the support tube it is for example the seat tube, i.e. the one Tube that runs up from the bottom bracket and is used to hold the seat post. Depending on the arrangement of the damper can be the support tube also act on a lower part of the seat tube, which is for arrangement the damper the rear swing arm is broken. The swing arm bearing housing is usually around a housing with a substantially cylindrical bore in which, for example a bolt or the like can be added for mounting the rocker can. The swing arm bearing housing is common by welding with the support tube connected. For this purpose it is known to compress the support tube in these areas, around the swing arm bearing housing to be able to order. On the cross section of the support tube the swing arm bearing housing is therefore partially within the support tube arranged. The compression of the support tube, however, has a considerable impact Stability disadvantage since the compression reduces the stability of the support tube and this additionally by welding is weakened with the swing arm bearing housing. By arranging the rocker bearing housing in this way thus reducing the stability of the bicycle frame in one strong contaminated area.
The object of the invention is a Bicycle frames, especially a mountain bike or trekking frame to create the stability of the support tube through the arrangement of the swing arm bearing housing preferably little weakened is.
Die Lösung der Aufgabe erfolgt erfindungsgemäß durch die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1.According to the invention, the object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
According to the invention, the support tube has a recess to accommodate the swing arm bearing housing. Instead of pressing the support tube together is according to the invention in the support tube a recess, for example by cutting out a part the support tube, generated. The recess preferably extends over the entire Width of the support tube.
The one above the bottom bracket shell Swing bearing housing is for attachment in the preferably open in the direction of the swing arm bearing housing Recess used and preferably by welding with the support tube connected. By providing a recess, the stability of the support tube Avoid negative deformations.
It is particularly preferred to use the bottom bracket housing, for example, via struts or the like. To connect to the swing arm bearing housing to improve stability. This makes it possible additionally to connect the bottom bracket shell to the swing arm bracket via the Support tube one create further connection between the two housings and thus the stability to increase. The bottom bracket is preferably also welded to the support tube connected.
Preferably, the bottom bracket shell with the Swing bearing housing one piece made, for stability reasons it is preferably a forged part is. The housing can also be used, especially for small quantities partially or completely as a milled part be made. The bottom bracket shell is included the swing arm bearing housing at least one, preferably two stiffening struts connected. The two Stiffening struts are preferably arranged in the outer region of the rocker bearing housing.
To increase the stability is preferably a arcuate welding web with the swing arm bearing housing connected. The welding bridge points in the direction of the support tube provided recess and is preferably the shape of the recess adjusted so that simple welding is possible. Here, the welding web connected to the swing arm bearing housing via webs be so that the welding web has a distance from the swing arm bearing housing. Particularly preferred it is that the weld land also with the bottom bracket shell connected is. As a result, the stability can be further improved.
The invention is explained below a preferred embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings.
