Abstract

The umbrella (1) is assembled of a telescopic handle (2), a folding frame (3) and a textile cover (4). A rectangular textile or plastic sheet (8) of a size suitable to envelop the folded umbrella is sewn to the cover with one of its shorter edges, the seam (7) positioned parallel to one of the spokes (5). The opposite edge (9) is attached to the textile cover with a strip of Velcro (RTM) (10) which can also be used for fastening the sheet (8) to the folded umbrella in order to use it as a storage case (6).
