Abstract

The structure for covering e.g. a swimming pool (10) consists of several arches (12) with their ends firmly fixed in foundation plates (18). There may be three-way or four-way joints (16) connecting the arches to horizontal hose lengths (14) joining them. An e.g. transparent cover (20) may be stretched over the arches. The arches are made of thick-walled polyethylene hoses containing a metal reinforcing rod held in the center of the bore by spacing lugs. The annular space between the inside diameter of the hose and the outside diameter of the reinforcing rod is filled with liquid concrete which is poured in at the top through a funnel. The funnel is removed and the concrete is allowed to harden.

Claims (8)

1. Tragelement und hieraus herstellbares Stützgerüst gekennzeichnet durch einen mit Beton (32) gefüllten PE-Schlauch (30).1.
