Falls die Dekorelemente aus Glas bestehen und diese ungleichmäßig auf einem Fliesenbelag verklebt sind, besteht die Gefahr, dass sich die Glasdekorelemente entweder zu schnell ablösen oder bei Korrekturarbeiten beschädigt werden. Falls die Fliesen zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt auf Grund von Temperaturänderungen oder Bauwerksetzungen innerhalb üblicher Toleranzen noch arbeiten, können die Glasdekorelemente sich ebenfalls ablösen. Dies hat aufwendige Reparaturarbeiten zur Folge.
