Abstract

Stacking box arrangement (1) for the automated transport of small parts in stacking boxes (7-10) on a longitudinal conveyor, consisting of a base box (2) seated on a transport plane (47) and on the inner bottom surface of which an adapter plate (5) rests in a form-fitting manner and the stacking boxes (7-10) each have half-open profile recesses (30) on the bottom, which are directed downwards and which engage in associated, complementary bottom profiles (6) of the adapter plate (5) in a manner secured against displacement.

Description

The subject of the innovation is a stacking box arrangement for the automated transport of small parts in stacking boxes according to the preamble of claim 1.

When assembling devices, it is necessary to deliver small parts to the respective assembly site in a timely manner and as required, which are usually delivered from the longitudinal conveyor in a container suitable for small parts.

The longitudinal conveyor can be designed as a conveyor belt, as a ball roller surface or - preferably - as a rail system on which autonomously working transport robots bring the small parts to the assembly station in suitable stacking boxes as required and in a timely manner.

Such a stacking box is also referred to as a "butter box" and means a relatively small-volume, plastic stacking box, in which, for example, a small amount of assembly material fits, so that a preferred embodiment of such stacking boxes has a filling volume in the range of 0.5 to 5.0 liters owns.

In such a stacking box, for example, washers of size M2 to M10, screws, nuts and other small parts, and of course small electrical parts, can be transported.

It is known to use assembly stations for the manual assembly of devices on the sides of an assembly line, which is designed, for example, as a longitudinal conveyor. Such prior art results, for example, from the German utility model DE 296 22 389 U1 . There, a transport case is shown in the form of a flat tray, which is equipped with a substantially flat bottom, with low side walls formed on the edges. Upward ribs are formed on the floor, which enclose or surround the transport and storage means in their floor or foot area.

The disadvantage, however, is that the load application of the transport or storage means is limited to the floor area, which limits the intended use of such stacking boxes.

It has also proven to be disadvantageous to feed individual stacking boxes to the assembly station via an assigned transport robot or individually via the longitudinal conveyor, because this is associated with a great deal of time. If, for example, only 10 screws are required at the assembly site, this leads to high transport traffic on the longitudinal conveyor or the autonomously working, rail-guided transport robot.

The innovation is therefore based on the task of further developing a stacking box arrangement of the type mentioned in such a way that selectable combinations of stacking boxes of different sizes can be reliably brought to the assembly site via the longitudinal conveyor or via transport robots.

To solve the task, the innovation is characterized by the technical teaching of claim 1.

A feature of the innovation is that with the stacking box arrangement according to the innovation, there is for the first time the possibility of assembling ensembles (assemblies) of stacking boxes into transport units, for which, according to the innovation, a base box (tray) is first used, which is placed on the transport surface (the longitudinal conveyor or the carrying platform of the transport robot ) sits up. In the interior of the base box, a number of stacking boxes can now be arranged next to or on top of each other in any configuration as required.

In order to ensure that this stacking box arrangement) does not slip, tilt or jam in the base box during transport, a further development of the proposed innovation provides for an adapter plate (inlay) to be arranged on the bottom surface of the base box and for the stacking boxes to have downward, half-open profile recesses, which engage secured against displacement in associated, complementary bottom profiles of the adapter plate.

This predetermines a specific layer assignment of stacking boxes on the grid-shaped surface of the adapter plate, which has the advantage that the stacking boxes, secured in position and secured against displacement, correspond with their bottom profiles, which are open at the bottom, on associated raised areas pointing upwards, which has the advantage that the stacking boxes sitting on the adapter plate are secured against displacement and tilting.

Accordingly, entire ensembles (assemblies) of different types of stacking boxes can be arranged in the interior of the base box on the adapter plate arranged there, whereby it is of course also possible to stack the stacking boxes on top of one another or to arrange them next to one another.

Accordingly, the size of the base box is selected such that its interior is able to accommodate several stacking boxes, which accommodate the small parts, side by side and/or one above the other in a manner secured against displacement.

According to the subject matter of claim 2, it is of particular advantage that the adapter plate can be fastened in an exchangeable manner on the bottom surface of the base box.

This results in the advantage that the adapter plate is connected to the bottom surface of the base box in an easily detachable manner, with such detachable fastening means preferably being designed as clamping devices. This is the subject of claim 3.

In addition to the use of clamping devices for the detachable attachment of the adapter plate, other detachable attachment means between the bottom surface of the base box and the adapter plate are of course also possible, such as adhesive tapes consisting of loops, magnetic tapes or other suitable attachment means.

According to protection claim 4, each clamping device advantageously consists of a spring tongue that is resilient on one side, which is fixed with its fixed end in a terminal housing on the bottom of the base box and is preferably integrally formed there, and with its free, pivotable, resilient hooked end in a latching incision open on one side in the edge area of the adapter plate intervenes.

The detachable attachment of the adapter plate thus consists of a number of clamping devices arranged on the side walls of the base box, each clamping device being assigned a resiliently pivoting hook end which engages over the latching notch open on one side in the edge region of the adapter plate.

For example, one or more such clamping devices can be arranged at a mutual distance on each side wall of the base box.

The detachable adapter plate has the further advantage that it can be removed from the base box at the installation site together with the stacking boxes seated there, in order to maintain the specified composition of the stacking boxes on the adapter plate at the installation site.

Another embodiment also provides that the adapter plate can be removed from the base box in order to be replaced with another adapter plate. When replacing with another adapter plate, e.g. an adaptation to tool sets should be made, which should be transported with the basic container secured against displacement. In this way, the adapter plate can be adapted to the transport purpose.

In a further embodiment of the innovation, it is provided that the base container with the adapter plate inserted and fastened there is used as the cover of a stacking box arrangement. It is then placed on top of the stacking boxes in a position rotated 180 degrees. Such a cover function has the advantage that when used as a cover, the adapter plate no longer has to be removed from the base box. This minimizes the conversion effort.

If the inverted base container serves as a lid, no more stacking boxes can be stacked. However, if there are stacking boxes in a base container, it is possible for a base container including stacking boxes to be stacked on top of the existing arrangement.

There is also the option of stacking several (empty) base boxes on top of each other with an internal adapter plate. In this case, the stacking boxes would be removed from the base box.

It is of particular advantage if the adapter plate consists of a relatively thin, deformable plastic, which is preferably designed as a blow-moulded plastic plate, so that the grid-shaped surface, which is formed by a number of horizontal depression channels and separate raised areas, can be produced inexpensively in the blow-moulding process . However, it can also be designed as an injection molded part. However, the adapter plate can also be designed as a foam insert. This is an elastomeric foam into which the shaping sections are incorporated.

The raised areas of the adapter plate that form the grid-shaped surface and are spatially separated from one another are suitable for engaging in the downward-facing, half-open profile recesses on the bottom side of the stacking boxes. In this way, the stacking boxes are secured against displacement on the raised areas of the adapter plate and can thus be transported safely over longer transport distances together with the base box.

A further advantage is that writing areas can be arranged preferably in all four side walls of the stacking box. This Labeling areas are defined at the edge by plug-in holders, and labeling carriers can be inserted into these plug-in holders, which are labeled in a suitable manner and reflect the contents of the stacking box arrangement.

A further advantage of using the special shape of the stacking boxes is that, to center the stacking boxes when stacked, guide profiles are arranged on the vertical corner regions of the respective stacking box, which are directed radially outwards and are vertically aligned in their longitudinal axis. These guide profiles preferably run in a wedge shape over their vertical length in order to achieve centering when the stacking boxes are stacked.

It has also been found to be particularly advantageous if load-carrying openings for the attachment of a load-carrying means are arranged in the upper, peripheral edge profile. In this case, it is preferred if the edge profile forms a self-contained cavity into which load-receiving openings, which are preferably directed vertically, are formed on the front side. This has the advantage that the gripper tines of a load-carrying device can engage in the load-carrying openings in the edge profile and are supported on all sides. The profile of the gripper tines is preferably adapted to the profile of the load-receiving openings in the peripheral edge profile in order to ensure an engagement that is as free of play and secured against tilting as possible.

Due to the fact that the peripheral edge profile is designed as a self-contained hollow profile, the load-receiving openings introduced there are particularly stable. This has the advantage that the gripper tines of a load-carrying device can engage in the load-carrying openings in the peripheral edge profile on one side without the resulting torque causing the edge profile to break out. This means that loaded stacking boxes can also be reliably lifted, transported and set down with the load handling device gripping the side.

Further features of the invention are the subject matter of the remaining claims.

The subject matter of the present invention results not only from the subject matter of the individual patent claims, but also from the combination of the individual patent claims with one another.

the 1 shows a stacking box arrangement as an example, in which two base boxes 2, 2a are seated side by side on a common transport plane 47. The transport plane 47 is formed, for example, by the upper side of a longitudinal conveyor or by the loading platform of a transport robot, which can be moved autonomously to different assembly stations on a rail system.

It is particularly advantageous if there are recesses on the underside of the base box 2, 2a which open downwards on one side and into which the conveying tools of the conveying means engage in a non-displacement manner and thus hold the base box in non-displacement on the conveying path.

The transport direction 48 is defined by the in 1 marked arrow.

In the interior of the base box 2, an adapter plate 5 is arranged, which has a specific, matrix-like or grid-shaped bottom profile 6, which is suitable for positive engagement with the bottom sides of stacking boxes 7, 8 stacked on it.

The adapter plate 5 is detachably fixed in the interior on the bottom surface of the base box 2 with the aid of clamping devices 4 arranged on the side walls of the base box 2 .

In the exemplary embodiment shown, the floor area of the respective base box 2, 2a, 2b consists of a grid floor 3.

In another embodiment, not shown in the drawing, the outwardly open latching incisions 14 can also be closed and laid as latching openings in the inner surface of the adapter plate.

The adapter plate 5 is removed by manually actuating the locking hooks.

The hook end 36 of the spring tongue 16 protrudes beyond the height of the grid floor 3 so that the adapter plate 5 can be placed flush and load-transmitting on the grid floor 3 and the lateral latching incisions 14 are overlapped by the hook ends 36 .

In another embodiment, the terminal housing can also be omitted entirely and the spring tongue is molded directly onto the bottom of the base box.

The previously described side wall arrangement with the reference numerals 42, 43, 44, 46 thus form a shoulder 15 on the top of the base box 2, so that they can be easily stacked on top of each other.

Furthermore, from the 9 and 10 It can be seen that the profile edge 32 in the bottom area of the respective stacking box 7 is formed from a number of adjacent profile ribs 31 in order to form a particularly stable bottom surface (contact surface 37) for the stacking box and thereby make the stacking box torsion-resistant and rigid.

The contact area 37 thus formed is therefore particularly torsion-resistant and free of tilting.

The corner areas 35 are rounded in order to ensure easy stacking of the stacking boxes into one another and also to result in centering here.

Furthermore, the 9 combined with 10 that a first circumferential grip edge 22 is provided, which is supported by means of molded support ribs 38 against the side walls of the stacking box 7-10. With the number 51 bottom centering recesses are designated.

The support ribs 38 also have a functional importance. Stacking boxes can also be placed on slide rails of a material supply system via the grip edge 22 and the support ribs 38 then act as a slide strip on the material supply system. This creates optimized space conditions because the otherwise existing dead area is better filled.

Above the handle edge 22, a circumferential edge profile 21 that is reduced in relation to the box diameter is formed, which with its inner sides (see 14 ) enables easy centering of the stacked boxes. Inscription surfaces 24 are preferably provided on all four side surfaces of the respective stacking box 7-10. For this purpose, clamp holders 23 arranged at a distance from one another are formed on the side surfaces and a finger recess 25 in the middle area between them.

The inscription areas 24 are preferably formed on the side walls 27, but also on the end walls 28. In other embodiments, however, it may be sufficient to arrange the inscription areas 24 only on the side walls 27 or the end walls 28, for example.

The load handling device 53 can also be supported with an additional support rib 55 on the upper side of the handle edge 22 .

Due to the integration of the load-receiving openings 52 in the edge profile 21 designed as a hollow profile, there is a lateral, highly resilient contact surface for the load-receiving means 53 without the risk of the load-receiving openings 52 breaking out when the loaded stacking box 7-10 is lifted. The stacking box 7-10 can thus be transported in an operationally reliable manner by means of a load handling device 53 attacking it on one or more sides.

According to a further embodiment, it is provided that slot-like load-receiving openings for engaging the gripper tines of a load-receiving means are also present in the bottom surface of the base box 2 and the adapter plate 5 . This makes it possible to grip and convey the parts mentioned separately and/or together with a load handling device 53 .

The stacking box arrangement 1 is arranged on a transverse conveyor 58, which in turn rests on a transport robot 57 and is controlled by it. The transport robot 57 can be moved autonomously on a rail track 56 by radio control.

Claims (18)

Stacking box arrangement (1) for the automated transport of small parts in stacking boxes (7-10) on a longitudinal conveyor, consisting of a base box (2) seated on a transport plane (47) and on the inner bottom surface of which an adapter plate (5) rests in a form-fitting manner and the stacking boxes (7-10) each have half-open profile recesses (30) on the bottom, which are directed downwards and which engage in associated, complementary bottom profiles (6) of the adapter plate (5) in a manner secured against displacement. Stacking box arrangement (1) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the adapter plate (5) is attached to the bottom surface of the base box (2, 2a, 2b) in an exchangeable manner. Stacking box arrangement (1) according to claim 1 or 2 , characterized in that the adapter plate (5) is exchangeably held in the base box (2) by means of a clamping device (4). Stacking box arrangement (1) according to one of Claims 1 until 3 , characterized in that each clamping device (4) consists of a one-sided spring tongue (16) which is fastened with its fixed end in a floor-side clamping housing (18) of the base box (2) or is formed directly on the floor and with its free, swiveling hook end (36) engages over a locking incision (14) open on one side in the edge region of the adapter plate (5). Stacking box arrangement (1) according to one of Claims 1 until 4 , characterized in that the bottom surface of the base box (2) is designed as a grid floor (3), that the clamping devices (4) are formed on the inner sides of the side walls (46) of the base box (2), and that the hook ends (36) of the Spring tongues (16) protrude beyond the grid surface of the grid floor (3). Stacking box arrangement (1) according to claim 6 , characterized in that the adapter plate-side raised areas (11, 12) form a form-fitting engagement in the downward-facing, semi-open profile recesses of the stacking boxes (7-10). Stacking box arrangement (1) according to one of Claims 6 until 7 , characterized in that the grid-like raised areas (11) are formed by bulges open on one side downwards from the plane of the adapter plate (5). Stacking box arrangement (1) according to one of Claims 1 until 8th , characterized in that each stacking box (7-10) consists of a box profile which is open at the top and widens conically outwards from an inner bottom surface, the vertical corner regions (35) of which are rounded and that the bottom-side Profile edge (32) consists of a plurality of profile ribs (31) spaced apart from one another. Stacking box arrangement (1) according to one of Claims 1 until 9 , characterized in that on the side walls of the stacking boxes (7-10) holders (23, 26) are arranged for the arrangement of adhesive and/or exchangeable inscription surfaces (24). Stacking box arrangement (1) according to one of Claims 1 until 10 , characterized in that for centering the stacking boxes (7-10) when stacking on the vertical corner regions of the respective stacking box (7-10) radially outwardly directed guide profiles (34) are arranged in their longitudinal axis vertically. Stacking box arrangement (1) according to one of Claims 1 until 11 , characterized in that the upper container edge of the respective stacking box (7-10) is formed by a peripheral gripping edge (22) protruding from the side wall, which transitions in the vertical direction into a peripheral edge profile (21) arranged above it. Stacking box arrangement (1) according to one of Claims 1 until 12 , characterized in that the upper side of the stacking box (7-10) is formed by the peripheral edge profile (21) which is moved inwards in relation to the wider handle edge (22).
