Description

The invention relates to an assembly aid for assembling a metal track on a roof.

If metal sheets, which are also known as sheet metal sheets or roof sheets, are mounted on a roof, they should protrude over the roof termination, e.g. an eaves sheet. Because of changes in temperature, the roofing membranes can, for example, expand in summer or contract in winter. Therefore, there must be a certain amount of play at the roof finish in order to be able to compensate for these changes.

So far, a distance has been measured by hand. The roofing membranes are then bent down over the roof termination at the same distance.

The calibration is complex and time-consuming.

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide an assembly aid which enables a simple and quick assembly of a metal track on a roof.

This object is achieved by the subject matter having the features of claim 1.

According to the invention, the mounting aid is designed for mounting a metal track on a roof or can be used for this purpose.

The assembly aid preferably helps when assembling in the area of a roof termination.

A metal track can, for example, have a width of 60 cm.

The assembly aid has a plate-shaped base body.

A stop, which extends downward on an underside of the base body, is provided for a roof closure.

The stop preferably extends over the entire length of the base body.

The stop is offset inwardly with respect to an end face of the base body. This automatically results in a distance between the end face of the base body and the roof termination. Calibration is not required, which saves time and thus costs.

In order to deform the metal track, the base body can be temporarily arranged at least in sections between the metal track and the roof termination.

The metal track can be bent using the assembly aid.

The assembly aid can then be pulled out to the side and used, for example, for an adjacent metal track.

The assembly aid consequently does not remain on the roof, but is only temporarily arranged between the metal sheet and the roof termination during assembly.

According to one embodiment, the roof termination is designed as an eaves sheet.

According to a further embodiment, the base body has a width between 5 cm and 30 cm, preferably between 10 cm and 20 cm.

Due to this width, the base body rests on the roof termination over a large area, which makes assembly easier.

The thickness of the base body can be, for example, between 0.5 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 1 mm and 3 mm.

According to a further embodiment, the base body has a marking for a notch in the metal track.

The marking can, for example, be painted, embossed, punched, lasered and / or engraved on the base body.

The marking can be arranged, for example, in a rear third of the base body with respect to the end face having the projection.

Thanks to the marking, a worker knows at which position a notch has to be made. Until now, this position had to be measured, which took a lot of time.
