Description

The crossbow models mentioned have a repeating lever mechanism for cocking the crossbow. This repeating lever consists of a simple U-profile which is attached to the crossbow with a fastening screw. On this U profile there is also the receptacle for the middle transport rod as well as for the middle and end handle together with the locking mechanism.

The built-in repeating levers of the crossbow series described tend to wobble and twist due to their U-shape. They can only be screwed to the crossbow and the add-on parts such as the handle, end grip and locking mechanism to a limited extent and cause an unclean repeating process, especially with higher loads. In addition, they can only withstand higher loads to a limited extent.

solution

These problems are solved by the repeating lever reinforcement. Through the recesses made, the reinforcement can be inserted lengthways into the original U-profile and optionally at the existing mounting points ( 1 , 2 , 3 , 4th ) are attached. The handles and the locking mechanism can also be connected to the repeating lever and the reinforcement at these mounting points.

Through the recess on the top ( 5 ) the middle transport rod can be inserted without any problems and attached to the corresponding holder ( 2 ).

The reinforcement makes the repeating lever significantly more stable, torsion-resistant and can also withstand higher loads. The feel and the repeating process are improved.

The reinforcement can vary in length and height to meet different requirements.

To get a good fit on the repeating lever, the lower edges can be chamfered lengthways ( 7th ), the front part can be rounded ( 8th ) and the rear part can be lowered ( 6th ).

Reinforcement for repeating levers of the crossbow models "EK Archery Cobra R9, RX, Adder" and the crossbow models "Cold Steel Cheap Shot", whereby the reinforcement consists of one or more parts with recesses for attachment to the crossbow (1), recesses for the receptacle (5 ) and fastening of the middle transport rod (2) as well as the fastening screws of the handles (3), the end handle and the locking mechanism (4) and can thus be inserted into the existing, original repeating lever and connected to it. Optionally, the reinforcement can also be provided with chamfered lower edges (7), a lowered end piece (6) and / or a rounded front part (8). The reinforcement can vary in length and height and fill the repeating lever completely or only partially. The recesses and recordings can also vary in size and arrangement.
