Description

The invention relates to a long pallet for long goods with the features of the preamble of protection claim 1.

Long pallets for the transport of long goods, e.g. known from profiles, in particular window profiles, which have a plurality of floor beams, a number of uprights and a number of handrails. The floor beams are spaced apart in a transverse direction of the long pallet. On both ends of the floor beams arranged on opposite sides of the floor beams, one upright is fastened in a projecting manner. If the long pallet lies horizontally on a floor, the uprights point essentially vertically upwards. A receiving space for receiving the long goods is formed between the uprights arranged on opposite sides of the floor beams. The uprights thus serve to prevent the long goods, which are transported by means of the long pallet, from sliding off the side of the pallet. This is particularly advantageous for round profiles to be transported.

The uprights are divided into two groups, the uprights of one group being arranged on the same side of the receiving space. One or more handrails are assigned to each of the two groups of uprights, by means of which the uprights of one of the two groups are connected to one another. The length of the long pallet is determined by the position of the uprights attached to the handrails or the position of the handrails themselves. The handrails continue to serve the stability of the long pallet, in particular the stability against the bending or twisting of the pallet. The uprights have an upper recess, the handrails being fastened within the recesses. The handrails are thus arranged in a longitudinal direction of the long pallet.

To further increase the stability of the long pallet, additional protective boards are attached to the uprights. The protective boards are attached to these uprights on the side of the uprights facing away from the receiving space, at least two uprights being connected to one another with a protective board. The protective boards are fastened in an area between the handrails and the floor beams on the uprights in a longitudinal direction of the long pallet.

The stability of such long pallets is not sufficient, particularly in the case of particularly heavy long goods. Furthermore, the width of the long pallet is increased by the protective boards attached to the outside of the uprights, so that more space on a loading area e.g. a container or truck, by means of which a long pallet is transported, for example, is taken up by the long pallet. Furthermore, due to the protective boards attached to the outside of the uprights, there is a risk that when the long pallets are loaded or unloaded, the long pallets get caught with the protective boards on one another or on other projections, so that the loading or unloading process is incorrect or only takes a long time is executable. The protective board has the task of protecting the goods during the loading and unloading process.

The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a particularly stable long pallet which can be produced with little effort.

Furthermore, the long pallet should enable the long pallet to be loaded and unloaded particularly quickly and smoothly, e.g. from a loading area.

This object on which the invention is based is now first achieved by means of a long pallet with the features of the protection claim 1.

The basic principle of the invention is essentially that at least two of the uprights have a lower cutout, one of the protective boards engaging in at least two of the lower cutouts, the lower cutouts and the protective boards being arranged on a side of the upright facing the receiving space. All uprights preferably have a lower cutout, the cutouts and the protective boards correspondingly engaging in the cutouts being arranged on the side of the upright assigned to the receiving space. For example, five uprights can be arranged on each of the two long sides of the long pallet.

In this way, the stability of the long pallet is increased, so that even heavy long goods can be transported safely with the long pallet. The arrangement of the protective boards within the lower recesses of the uprights ensures that the protective boards do not protrude from the uprights. This enables particularly simple and smooth loading and unloading. The loading and unloading refers both to the long goods that are placed or lifted out in the pallet, as well as to the long pallet itself, which is placed on a loading surface or which is lifted off the loading surface. The protective boards are arranged in a protected manner by the arrangement offset inwards, so that jamming when loading or unloading a truck of the protective boards with the forklift or damage to the protective boards is avoided. It was surprisingly found that the arrangement of the protective boards on one side of the upright facing the receiving space in particular the The torsional stiffness of the long pallet is increased. At least one floor board is preferably fastened to the floor beams in a longitudinal direction of the long pallet. The tines of a forklift can drive under these floorboards.

Such floorboards further increase the stability of the long pallet. The floor boards can be placed on the floor beams and connected to the floor beams, or the floor boards are made in the recesses made in the floor beams and connected to the floor beams. The floor boards furthermore serve to prevent the long goods from being able to be led downward out of the long pallet, so that the loading of the long pallet with long goods is further simplified and can therefore be carried out more quickly. The preferred embodiment of the pallet has exactly ten uprights and five floor beams, the at least one floor board being fastened to the middle three floor beams. Two floor boards are preferably attached to the central floor beams. The assembly effort is minimized and at the same time good stability of the long pallet is achieved.

In a further embodiment of the long pallet, at least one of the uprights is made in one piece.

This type of fastening of the individual components of the long pallet with one another or with one another is particularly simple and quick to implement.
