Abstract

The portion container is in the form of a tub with a base in which an aeration hole closed in the transporting state can be opened from the outside as required. The aeration hole (4) in the transporting state of the container is closed off by a pull-off sealing label (5). The base of the container has a section (S) directly encompassing the aeration hole in ring fashion and which forms a sealing surface for the sealing label. The sealing section is formed by the flat upper side of an outwards orientated raising (3) of the base. An independent claim is included for a tooling arrangement for the manufacture of a portion container in which a hot needle is used to puncture an aeration hole in the base of the container.

Claims (18)
